Buster's real middle name was surely "Trouble": learning of his mother's decision to advertise for a tutor, he immediately called Mary Jane and faithful Tige into consultation, and all three went to a paint store where they laid in a supply of paint and brushes and proceeded to concoct a sign destined to have dire results for all. "Wanted: A Tutor to Tute Two Tots, etc." was how it started off. Buster and his companions placed it in a prominent position on the lawn and awaited results. They came quickly in the person of Algernon Cadwallader, who entered the house to make further inquiries. His reception was somewhat exciting and he had evidently heard of Buster Brown before; on learning that Buster Brown was his pupil, he made a hurried exit, assisted materially by Tige and the Goat. Buster's glee was short-lived: Herr Professor von Blitzen answered Mrs. Brown's advertisement and took command of the situation. Undaunted by the little German's fierce manner, Buster and Tige tried some of their regular tactics, only to find that Herr Professor was thoroughly capable of taking care of himself. Tige beat a hasty retreat from the schoolroom, followed by Von Blitzen. The goat entered the conflict and to his great surprise was roughly handled. Buster was thoroughly spanked.

In this release the usual characters appear, Buster, Mary Jane, Tige and the goat. To keep Buster out of mischief his mother advertises for a tutor in a newspaper. Buster installs a sign in front of the lawn on which he inscribes, &quot;Wanted, a Tutor to Tute Two Tots, etc.,&quot; and then they await the result. The first applicant &#39;&#39;receives his&quot; in large doses; the second, a little German professor, reverses things and Buster, Mary Jane, Tige and the goat &quot;get theirs.&quot; This is very laughable. - The Moving Picture World, October 24, 1914
