This film is both a feast for the eyes and the mind I look at my life in two stages before Dead Trees and after. The story captures the imagination like no other film could with a screenplay that combines the wit of Casablanca the suspense of Psycho and the emotional depth of Schindler's List. Terry Foster is a genius he has saved us from our bleak existence he works magic with his fingers and his mind is a treasure chest of ideas this is the yard stick for all other screenplays to be measured by.
The director sees the world with vision and clarity that mere mortals could never hope to comprehend. Peter Tainty bestows upon us a visual epic that demands veneration he creates a story with such elegance and beauty that it will move you to tears. This is the yard stick for all directors to be measured by.
In 326 BCE Alexander the great conquered the known world in 1805 Horatio Nelson gave his life protecting the freedoms of his people in the 1960's Martin Luther King had a dream and a vision for a better future in 2005 Neil Brockhurst changed the way we perceive the world with his stunning performance as Billy. There is no word yet invented to describe this performance the closet word known is perfection. For any other actor to top this performance would be near impossible. Leanne Humphries and Martin Copland-Gray play their roles magnificently but are shadowed by Neil Brockhurst who steals the lime light his acting is the yardstick for every actor walking this earth.
To behold this film is a privilege and a honour and was the catalyst of my rebirth.
