Literally made this account just to give a rating in line with how funny and on point Sam Jay was in her debut comedy special. Anyone who thought this special was offensive, what the hell are you watching comedy for? Get over yourself, it ain't that serious

I'm a big fan of stand up. This wasn't an arena show. Small club and funny s*it. Sam is smart and she's gonna get better. I didn't notice too many curse words, but she doesn't work clean, so watch Jim Gaffigan if ya can't handle that. I like that she said exactly what she wanted and it was perfect.
Good set.
I was amused, but to me it would have been better if she reduced the cursing, otherwise not bad at all.
Yes, expletives galore - but personally, I think it makes the routine that much funnier. I'm not offended by curse words, and Sam Jay may just be my new favorite comic.
Sam Jay is a dope ass comic, it's weird there's not support for her here. Smh. The entire bit about traveling from the beginning to the end is amazing. Definitely a fun watch.

Boring. Droll. Uninspired. Unfunny. Lives to be a victim. If it wasn't for racism she'd have no act. That's all she drones on about. Oh in case you didn't get that she's a lesbian. You will remind you 1000 times in the course of an hour.

It is rare to see a young black lesbian woman in stand up. We were excited to watch. She was hilarious!!

I just miss quality humor, not a whole stand up with vulgar jokes. I understand some here and there but not constant the same thing over and over again. Also it is a head scratcher how did this get in netflix? Waste of an hour of my life I will never get back.
I understand the importance of diversity and inclusion but there are people there that actually have talent, quality content, and worthy to be on netflix.
I'd just encourage netflix to concentrate more on quality and not contribute to the degeneration of our society. This is what our youth sees? Raise the bar, don't promote low quality stand up.

Have to day thi is one of the better stand up specials I've seen this year. Laugh out loud funny as f@$k!
We were super entertained and laughed A LOT.
I expected it to have a 9 or 10
Everyone giving bad ratings should open up a little a relax before watching any standup. Just chill and enjoy stop overthinking and judging comedians so harshly people!

She was great from start to finish she had such relatable content. Definitely would love to see more content from her, she had me and my wife laughing so hard.

This Netflix stand up comedy is absolutely laugh-out-loud hilarious from start to finish!
Sam Jay turns in a totally solid one-hour set which is almost flawless. (One star deducted for a couple of clunky transitions and when Jay chuckles at her own punchlines- I hate that).
If you're offended by continuous n-words, f-bombs and just pure nastiness, then this comedy special is not for you. You've been amply warned.
I'm often bored or simply put off by constant swearing in comedy sets, as it seems to lack finesse and deeper creativity, but in this case I grant Ms. Jay a total dispensation! It just works.
This woman has got it going on, and this year review is coming from a cis, straight, white older woman.
I read that she snagged a half-hour weekly show and boy, DOES SHE DESERVE IT!
Give it a try, and you might be pleasantly just how fresh and funny she is.
