Cloud Nothings have announced they are heading back out on the road for a fall 2024 tour celebrating the 10th anniversary of Here and Nowhere Else. In addition to headlining dates with rotating openers Equipment, Farmer’s Wife, and Armlock, it includes shows supporting Rise Against and L.S. Dunes.

On the trek, Cloud Nothings will play Here and Nowhere Else in full alongside “a bunch of other tunes.” It kicks off on October 19th in Lakewood, Ohio, and will also make stops in Brooklyn, Nashville, Austin, Los Angeles, Chicago, and more. See the itinerary below.

Cloud Nothings are coming off a headlining tour in support of their new album, Final Summer, which dropped in April and was previewed with the title track and “Running Through the Campus.” It marks the follow-up to 2021’s The Shadow I Remember.

Cloud Nothings have detailed a 2024 tour in support of their upcoming album, Final Summer.

Running from its kickoff date of May 2nd in Buffalo, New York through a closing show in Ferndale, Michigan on June 9th, the “Final Summer Tour” will also hit Toronto, New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, DC, and more. See the band’s full touring itinerary below.

Cloud Nothings have announced a new studio album, Final Summer, and shared its latest single, “Running Through the Campus.”

Due on April 19th, Final Summer is Cloud Nothings’ first release on Pure Noise Records, and marks their ninth or 10th album “depending on how you look at it,” according to the band’s Dylan Baldi. Speaking to the record’s themes, Baldi said: “It’s about feeling alright in the moment. A lot of these songs sorta ended up being about getting by or trying to keep improving despite everything.”

“Final Summer” opens with a brief splash of synths before giving way to a hooky guitar riff, while the track’s lyrics feature themes of identity and self-growth. “I have some thoughts, I have some dreams,” guitarist/vocalist Dylan Baldi sings on the chorus. “But I need to be happy with what I’ve got for me.”

Bloodthirst is from the folks at Mahal Empire, last year they gave us their version of the zombie apocalypse, Bridge of the Doomed. This year they’re revisiting the apocalypse, only in Bloodthirst the threat comes from a different strain of the undead, vampires. Interestingly, both films were directed by Michael Su and written by Adrian Milnes this time with a story credit to Massimiliano Cerchi

In the world of Bloodthirst two factions of vampires fight for control of what’s left of the planet. What’s left of humanity is caught in the middle and rapidly heading for extinction, something that would doom the vampires as well. Ukrainian-born, Miami-based producer, songwriter, composer, and filmmaker Rostislav Vaynshtok (Terrifier 2), better known as Slavvy, has officially signed on to score All My Friends Are Dead, the upcoming slasher film from Saw IV-3D writer and The Collector director Marcus Dunstan.

All My Friends Are Dead follows a group of close college friends who get a steal on a killer Airbnb for the biggest music festival of the year. A weekend of partying quickly takes a turn for the worst as members of the group are murdered one by one. They soon discover that each one of their deaths directly corresponds to one of the seven deadly sins.

The film, which stars stars Jojo Siwa and Jade Pettyjohn, is currently in post-production.

As principal photography wraps on two of the five segments of the highly anticipated horror anthology, F’d, several images have been released ahead of a forthcoming trailer. Final Summer has been an Official Selection at numerous genre festivals Including HorrorHound and Scarefest and is a newly announced pick for this year’s Panic Fest. Final Summer stars veteran genre actor Thom Matthews, Bishop Stevens and Nora Yates.

Cult horror stars Tom Atkins and Thom Mathews are teaming up for the new slasher throwback thriller Final Summer for a 2022 release. One of Atkins and Mathews’ costars in Final Summer is St. Louis-based Bishop Stevens, the WCW Wrestler-turned-actor. Stevens trained with the legendary 8-time World Champion Harley Race before signing with World Championship Wrestling (WCW) under the name “The Atomic Dogg”. The North St. Louis County-native Bishop has a number of good film acting roles under his belt now, including parts in Girl On The Third Floor, No Good Heroes (read my interview with that film’s director Here), Lockdown, and TV shows such as AMC’s The Walking Dead, Fox’s Empire, and NBC’s Chicago Pd.
