The pilot of the aeroplane says he will show them a stall, and pushes the throttle forwards, and then pulls it back to come out of the stall. That is the wrong way. In every aeroplane the pilot pulls the throttle back to reduce power and go into a stall, and pushes it forward to increase power and come out of it.
They are driving north on a highway in Queensland, and turn right onto a gravel track. They are suddenly heading into the setting sun. But this means they would be heading east.
