"Apocalypse, CA" was shot over the course of just over a year, in three distinct chunks, beginning in June 2007, continuing in April 2008, and finishing in September 2008. The movie had 65 total days of filming.
Production never used more than four total crew members at any given time, usually operating with just a cameraman and boom operator.
