BookTok is the go-to place for spicy romance reads, offering a range of steamy novels for fans of all levels of "spice". Popular books on BookTok, like Twisted Love and Priest, feature plenty of explicit content for readers to enjoy. Some BookTok romances are lighter on the spice but still worth reading, like Delilah Green Doesn't Care and The Love Hypothesis.
TikTok is a great place to get book recommendations across genres, but "BookTok" is especially useful for those looking for spicy romance reads. Some of the most popular books on BookTok are romance and romantasy novels featuring steamy moments. This explains the platform's reputation for promoting smut, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. It makes it the go-to place for romance readers looking to separate the tamer stories from the steamier novels they're looking for. BookTok also helps readers find their preferred "spice" level, matching them with their ideal books.

Good news: NBC's The Irrational will return for Season 2 in the fall of 2024. Even better, most of the cast will be returning.
The Jesse L. Martin-led police procedural stands out in a sea of crime dramas because it focuses on a behavioral scientist who moonlights as an FBI consultant. It is fun, entertaining, and easy to follow.
We've got you covered if you're playing catch-up now that the season has ended.
Our The Irrational Season 2 cast and character guide covers everything you need to know about the characters before you begin this unique series.
How The Irrational Is Different From Other Shows
The Irrational is not purely a police procedural.
Since the main character is a behavioral scientist, neuroscientific principles often come into play when solving each case.

It’s not every day that a filmmaker will rise up during an interview and recite Old Testament tales and sing out their favorite hymn. Well, hallelujah, brother Jeymes Samuel for spreading the gospel’s good news.
The director’s spectacular Jesus in the hood movie, The Book of Clarence, starring a mighty fine Lakeith Stanfield playing a charlatan wannabe Messiah, shakes up the toga and peepy toe genre.
Samuel’s movie has its world premiere Wednesday at the BFI London Film Festival. The Legendary Pictures production is released through Tristar with congregations taking their pews from January 12, 2024.
The movie’s thrilling prologue kicks off with a rip-roaring, wheel-screeching chariot race with Mary Magdalene thrashing the lads.
The moment was of course inspired by the iconic chariot scene between Charlton Heston’s Judah Ben-Hur and Stephen Boyd’s Messala in William Wyler...

Welsh veteran singer Sir Tom Jones has spoken out, questioning the decision to ban his classic song Delilah from being sung at national rugby matches.
It was announced by the venue’s owners in February that the song – whose lyrics feature a woman’s murder by her jealous partner – was no longer suitable to be sung by choirs at the national Principality Stadium in Welsh capital city Cardiff.
The song has been one of Jones’s most popular hits since its release in 1968 and, at a concert on Friday night at Cardiff Castle, the singer told the crowd he would continue to perform it.
The BBC reports him telling the audience, “You can’t stop us singing Delilah.
“Can you imagine… Who was the man who didn’t want us to sing Delilah?
“And we will keep singing it too.”
Rugby choirs ceased performing the song in 2015, and it was officially banned earlier this year.

One of the most culturally impactful shows on television of the 1990s, HBO's Sex and the City was revolutionary for its depiction of female sexuality and friendship. The show followed four single thirty-something women living in New York City and experiencing the dating scene. At the core of the show is the characters' love for New York City and fashion and their support of one another as they all have different opinions about sex and love. While the actors in Sex and the City had some name recognition, the success of the series made A-list stars out of its main cast.
Sex and the City was a massive critical success, and it won multiple Emmy Awards and Golden Globe Awards during its run. While the writing and themes of the show contributed to its appeal, the main cast members brought the likable Sex and the City characters to life. Fans'...

The soundtrack for American Hustle, the David O. Russell-directed 2013 crime caper, contains songs by a wide range of legendary musicians, from Tom Jones to the Bee Gees to Duke Ellington. The movie tells a fictionalized account of the Abscam operation of the late ‘70s and early ‘80s. Bradley Cooper stars as an FBI agent who recruits a pair of con artists, played by Amy Adams and Christian Bale, for a sting operation to catch crooked politicians. American Hustle was released to critical and commercial success. It was nominated for 10 Oscars, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, and all four acting categories.
In an interview with Esquire, Russell described American Hustle as “a propulsive kind of cinema that was driven by music.” The soundtrack was key to giving the movie its feel. Russell’s direction of American Hustle borrows heavily from Martin Scorsese’s signature style of fast-paced,...

Warning: This article features Spoilers for You season 4.
Joe Goldberg's #1 rule to getting away with murder is defeating anyone who might expose his truth, including Nadia, which helps explain her fate in You season 4. The London student was a refreshing addition to the show after fans spent all of You season 3 watching Love Quinn and her entitled neighbors. Nadia was similar to You season 2's Delilah in that viewers were actually rooting for her to escape and uncover Joe's secrets. She was also similar to Marienne, which is why she was so quick to help her escape Joe's glass box and return home to her daughter by making the You protagonist think she died.
After finding Marienne in You season 4, Nadia was determined to prove Joe was a killer but didn't think the police would believe her story about him. Instead of turning him in to authorities, she recruited...

While it’s easy enough to edit an expletive out of a song, there are many other reasons a track might fall foul of broadcasting standards or public opinion.
Some songs have been banned for referencing drugs, others for attacking the monarchy. Some were banned because it was believed they implied something sexual, despite not stating it outright.
One recent example of a song being banned is “Delilah” by Welsh crooner Tom Jones. In February, it was announced that choirs had been banned from singing the hit during their performances on rugby international matchdays at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.
The song’s lyrics include reference to a woman being murdered by her jealous partner.
The Welsh Rugby Union – the governing body which has recently been hit by sexism and discrimination allegations – took the song off its half-time entertainment and music playlist during Test matches in 2015. Guest choirs have also...

Exclusive: 1883‘s Lamonica Garrett and Martin Sensmeier are the latest additions to the cast of the street racing action-thriller Takeover, led by Migos frontman Quavo, from Trioscope and Quality Films. The pair joins an ensemble which also includes Billy Zane and Serayah, as previously announced.
The film, currently in production in Atlanta, will implement Trioscope’s proprietary technology that blends live-action with CG, underscoring the fascination and controversy surrounding the city’s street takeovers — also known as “sideshows.”
Garrett portrays Sheriff ‘Herc’ Hitchens, public enemy #1 in the takeover community. Herc is a sadistic officer, whose life mission is to shut down the illegal racing scene and its major players — especially Guy Miller (Quavo), a recent parolee who’s attempting to rehabilitate his life when circumstances propel him back into Atlanta’s dangerous takeover scene.

Freedom is an escape from society’s invisible cages. Thus Seth (Chris Messina) teaches his followers at The Aviary to emancipate themselves from those walls. He serves as their quasi-psychoanalyst conducting what he’s coined “barrier therapy” (or BT), allowing them to open themselves to what they truly want outside of the norms civilization feeds them. And they love him for it. They embrace his teachings and enjoy his hugs while walking lockstep into the New Mexican desert to inhabit his new, fully immersive BT barracks. Outsiders might say Seth is merely leading them from one prison to another, preying upon their weaknesses to interject himself as their God. To hear Jillian (Malin Akerman) and Blair (Lorenza Izzo) talk is to realize those outsiders are correct.
The two have escaped his clutches this time, their awakening arriving courtesy of revelations they could no longer silently live with. Blair was there shorter than Jillian,...

For decades, WarnerMedia and Discovery had largely co-existed independently. They have lived in separate universes with virtually no business interactions, as unscripted television is their main area of overlap. The Discovery networks work primarily with independent producers and not studios like Warner Bros TV, which has only produced a handful of reality shows for Discovery nets via its Shed subsidiary

There’s something about French films. The impeccably styled but lived-in interiors, the laid-back sensuality that feels like real-people sex, the cigarettes upon cigarettes upon cigarettes. The country’s entire oeuvre (has the word ever been more apropos?) feels like a smoky exhalation of the words “le cinéma.” That said, French films get away with certain things American films wouldn’t dare, for better or for worse. In “The Passengers of the Night” (“Les passagers de la nuit”), which stars Charlotte Gainsbourg as a newly divorced mother, meaning takes a backseat to mood, and character development happens on a whim. Still,

Some new chapters will begin for some of the gang when the series returns.
However, as evident by A Million Little Things Season 4 Episode 8, there are always some open-ended chapters that were incomplete, and they're rearing their heads, too.
It was mostly an understated midseason finale for this series, but the hour had notable heartfelt moments.
It's starting to wear on the series that they've opted to limit large group interactions among the cast and characters. When you have a series that always relied on the majority interacting at once, it becomes more noticeable whenever they stray from that.
It was an installment where you were more aware than usual that many of the storylines are insular. Most of them don't overlap and connect anymore. And, of course, they'll rotate featuring characters in installments, so when a midseason finale happens, it's more apparent than ever when the entirety of the cast isn't prominent in it.
