Víkingur convinces his best friend for many years, Darri, to come with him on a trip to his childhood home in Westfjords to recharge his batteries and gain inner peace. The journey immediately aims to be different than planned.
Víkingur shows Darri the beautiful Ísafjarðardjúp, and hidden pearls that can be found there. It turns out that the trip, which was supposed to be organized, is not at all, and Darri immediately begins to regret going on the journey.
Víkingur and Darri meet an Icelandic actor and visit a small fishing village that keeps Víkingur's dubious past. The trip is beginning to test the relationship between them, as it is not entirely clear what its real purpose is.
