Well, this was essentially a slow and boring descend into madness. But I am getting ahead of myself here.
When I sat down to watch the 2022 movie "3 Demons", it was without ever having heard about it. I stumbled upon the movie, and given the fact it was a new horror movies and apparently something with demons, then of course I opted to see what writers Matt Cunningham and Peter Tell had to offer.
And let me just tell you that it wasn't the most riveting of storylines. Sure, "3 Demons" was watchable, though keep in mind that it was a monotonous storyline and a pretty slow paced narrative. And that made "3 Demons" a fairly difficult and prolonged movie to sit through. I managed to endure it to the end, hoping that the movie would pick up pace and intensity, but that just never happened.
I am sure that the script was interesting on paper, but the transition to the screen just wasn't a particularly exicting one. I was only mildly entertained by the slow descend into madness that seemed to be the plot of the storyline. But I have to say that too little of any interest happened throughout the course of the storyline to actually keep the movie interesting or afloat.
The acting performances in the movie were adequate. I was not familiar with the cast ensemble in the movie, but I will say that the actors and actresses did put on adequate enough performances given the severe limitations imposed by an inadequate script.
Visually then "3 Demons" was actually okay. But special effects can only do so much to alleviate an inferior script.
My rating of "3 Demons" lands on a three out of ten stars.

If you like a slow burn movie and I mean a real slow burn, then this is for you. It is also quite confusing. Also for a cop he did a lot of dumb crap cops don't do. From the beginning when he started touching crap up, I knew he had no sense of what a cop does. The acting is somewhat okay. I am not sure what this movie was going far. At first I thought I had an idea and then it got so darn confusing that I just couldn't watch anymore of it. Like I said if you like slow burn, confusing and trying to make sense of what your watching. Well then this is for you. I gave it a 3 but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I have seen much better horror movies.
Either this was an artsy allegory of a man coming to terms with something he did in his past, or it was a director's lame attempt at that. I mean, dozens and dozens of disjointed scenes without explanation, without continuity, without purpose -- it borders on annoying. There is really no explanation for this movie, I think, and the characters are never explained and act without reason or purpose. I felt like I was suffering from schizophrenia while watching it. I am not sure what to make of it. Maybe you can do better than I did.
Great acting, though, and great cinematography.

Thought it was kinda good. Strange shuff back in those woods. Kind of last track of it after awhile. Good Movie right before bed. Sleep tight and beware.
Watched with a friend and we both agreed this is one of the worst films we've sat through recently and made it through to the end. We only watched the entire thing, hoping there would be some explanation to what was going on, but good luck with that. As someone else mentioned, it just seems to be some random scenes that make no sense just all strung together and called a movie. Trying to find anything positive to say, the lead actor did his best and was somewhat appealing. The negatives were everything else. This film, if you can even call it that, had no plot, wasn't well written, was poorly shot, with bad sound, the demon costumes were bargain basement and there was no horror atmosphere to any of it. There were no scares, we just sat there confused. It wasn't so bad we turned it off early, because we thought something, anything at all may end up being explained, but we had no idea what was going on and couldn't care less, except to be glad it finally ended.
