This was the first film shot on Super 8 reversal stock Kodacromme 40 for legendary cinematographer Alex Phillips Jr. The wide angle shots where done using the same lens used on Citizen Kane; Alex's father was friends with Gregg Toland, from him he got the lens and this is how it made it down to Mexico.
