This movie could have been a 8 out if 10 had the story ended with revelation of the killer. I enjoyed yhe movie until the ending and was hoping to see the killer but it was just such an abrupt and klpd kind of ending.

If you want to keep your audience waiting to figure out anything from a junk of clues leading to nothing, this movie can be the best example.
Comparing to any other crime thriller of Bollywood, this is average in all counts. You may as well grade below average when it comes to dialogues and acting. With such average acting and dialogues, the average story went somewhat OK with a natural audience expectation of revealing of the murderer at least at the end or leave the audience some obviousness. But all the clues become inconclusive and confusing connecting any of the suspects till the end. The work hasn't been one that can claim much of credits, let alone praise. Clearly it is based/theme-copied from some other film, but it is evident that, this was not done well enough.
If you don't have any alternatives at all (none whatsoever), you may watch without much expectation. Watched it over two days, and realized I simply wasted my time and could have used it elsewhere.

Whenever you decide to show CBI, pick a guy who looks smart and good. The main lead looks clueless and brainless most of the times. His frustration at his colleagues is a joke, also conversation with Devika looks so fake!
Don't waste your time and others times in making a movie like this!

Please don't waste your time watching this movie.
Writing, acting, camera everything is third class.
I watched this movie because i lived in Mumbai, but this movie which is supposed to be a crime thriller, doesn't care about Mumbai, or about police/CBI procedure, and most of all doesn't care about audience.
There are many fake reviews on IMDb, rating this movie as good, but it's just a click bait.
The story is about CBI enquiry into a serial killer, but the actors are performing worse than tv series CID..
Totally stupid movie, super low budget, the writer/director should be tied up and made to watch it for weeks.. it's that bad.
Inconclusive ending. In the end it is somebody did it. and we have to guess. But why and how he did it, the makers dont want to tell us.Thanks for fooling audience.

When you don't have an ending of a story, why to waste your money and people's time.
I believe there are many involved in making a movie but ni body dare to stop this project. So pathetic 🤔

The magic of mystery is when its get revealed your guess gets right or wrong.. But i think director and writer are still finding the killer.
Let them find the killer, don't waste your time watch another movie.

The movie is a remake but nothing like the original one
The whole movie they kept wondering here and there and tried to created a thrill which had no result
They remaked but had to give a conclusion as this is Bollywood and people cannot accept this concept of loose ends
Make what is acceptable

This could've been a fantastic film rated highly with a common sense or even a decent investigate approach to atrying to solve the crime. This was utter nonsense-women making up a killer and CBI following it without evidence. If Killings stopped at end, why - absolutely no reason? Nonsense.

Film was very well choreographed and directed. Only the post climax will make you disappointed. But I will appreciate Gulshan acting. He was truly amazing and focused for his role. This sequel from a Korean movie might win hearts, if the end was good. Still i would refer others to watch this movie. Good one. Go download Netflix and watch this. I am still thinking who was the criminal. I strongly doubt the waiter, that he is the real footfairy. If possible, please release second part of the film........I am eagerly waiting for this movie....... I can't write more.. Please don't say to write in more than 600 words...

The movie is very poorly directed..the artists are below average and their dialogues are like amateur and fake and without any sense in relation to the movie...and the script is poor..
I liked the movie. This movie has a different genre and the ending is left on peoples interpretation. If you think all the events that happened in the movie you can recognize the killer yourself. But there are two interpretations here, the ending where a girl is hit with a snow ball confused a lil bit. I was very clear who the killer is (Vivaan), but the ending confused me and made me to think about Rishabh too.
>> I read all the comments here, I would say, people in Bollywood are obsessed with straightforward movies like happy ending love stories. They sadly don't understand the creativity that's shown.

This was one of the more surprising movies I've watched recently! I really appreciated a lot of things they did and I was glad to see that it was a faithful tribute to one of my favorite Korean movies, "Memories of Murder (2003);" directed by Bong Joon-ho (Parasite, The Host) it remains to this day one of the most chilling and heartfelt thrillers I've seen. Of course, Footfairy must be looked at for what it is: a passion project and a tribute, not a film to compare to its inspiration.
I see a lot of people complaining about the ending and I hear them: the idiotic cop-out at the end in Russia was akin to tossing black paint all over a just finished painting - I would've loved to see the creators respect their work more.
It was sad to see a good attempt at a passion project ruined in this way, I contend that it would've been much better if the film were left to stand on the foundation that was picked as its original inspiration. And if the people were upset about the climax then, at least they would have a begrudging respect for the filmmakers.
Overall though, for everyone who's upset about the "cop-out" ending, I agree with them. However, for anyone who disagrees with the "true" climax (with Gulshan coming back to the site of the first body) I highly suggest you watch 'Memories of Murder (2003)' to get a better understanding of how an ending like that done masterfully can leave you short of breath.

This movie is an attempt to recreate Sarinui chueok, whis is a South Korean film released in 2003 and attained the status of Cult Classic. However the director lacked creativity and couldn't do much beside simply setting up the story in Mumbai.
