The original short was shot for just £500 in the Welsh countryside. The cast and crew all rented an Airbnb for the duration of the shoot.
Shot over a period of four weeks, mostly in and around Snowdonia National Park in Wales.
The film was originally set to start filming on the very first day that the UK went into lockdown for the first time in the Covid-19 pandemic. They had to wait six months before they could start making the film again.
Brian's cottage (a real location) had no heating which proved problematic when shooting in the midst of December.
