Do these people ever went to acting school or something. I mean in the 80's the lowest B movies (now called "indie") were 100 time better then this. Camera shooting, light, acting, music, writting ... anything were better, or at least watchable. Do someone try to learn any basic of movie making nowdays ???? What is it, a movie ??? NO , it's a homemade video for their backyard with no light or camera or editing. It's terrible not only this title but ALL the others Indie videos from this year and the years before. Digital camera has killed the cinema.

The trailer for this movie looked interesting: Some people pull of a heist, and the place they wind up camping out is haunted by demons. Unfortunately, the trailer was misleading. The story is very hard to follow, trying to keep up with who is double crossing who, what role the third party female victims in the house are playing, and who the audience should be rooting for to survive.
On top of that, the sound editing is awful. The background music is too loud and often drowns out the spoken dialogue in the movie. Two more prominent films that are guilty of this are THERE WILL BE BLOOD and DUNKIRK.

This another example of how easy it is to budget a film with little money but still do nothing apart from lay on the cheese. I've been watching vapire/horror films for 30 years and this is awful. Do not spend money renting this film. I know it's hard to stop it but good reviews must have come from friends and family. Good luck finding something else.

Well, I stumbled upon the 2021 movie "Wrong Place, Wrong Time" by random chance, and of course I opted to sit down to watch it as it was a movie that I hadn't already seen.
And I had no idea what I was getting into here, as I sat down to watch the movie from writer and director Justin Price. So it is fair to say that I had no expectations, nor any clue what I was in for.
"Wrong Place, Wrong Time" started out well enough, but then settled into a monotonous pace and never recovered from that downward slope.
I am sure that if you have never seen a vampire movie before, then there is some enjoyment to be had by watching "Wrong Place, Wrong Time". But for us that have sat through vampire movies before, then "Wrong Place, Wrong Time" just didn't really cut it. It was just too mundane and slow paced.
The make up and prosthetics in the movie were a bit all over the place, because some of the effects looked rather interesting and good, while others were just an eyesore to look at. Personally, I must say that the make-up department did a good job with the master vampire, because that looked good, though there was no articulation on the face when the actor tried to mumble his dialogue through the latex.
"Wrong Place, Wrong Time" was not a movie that brought me much of any entertainment, though I managed to sit through the entire ordeal. And this is definitely not a movie that I would recommend fans of the vampire genre to rush out to get their hands on or sink their fangs in.
My rating of this 2021 action horror movie from writer and director Justin Price lands on a generous three out of ten stars.

Wrong place, wrong time for a silly vampire flick filled with expendable characters and based around the tired plot of battery with intent to commit a crime.

The heist premise was fine. It evaporated in the countryside and then I was watching another movie. I was able to trim the viewing time to about 15-20 minutes (or less) by fast forwarding through all the garbage to get a sense of the unremarkable and forgettable story/"plot". You might want consider doing the same.
Yes I have some gripes with this film but honestly during the pandemic I've seen way worse. Here is my summary:
- The main cast largely seem to have secured the roles based on being good looking especially as barely any of them give the vibe of being combat veterans. That said their acting isn't terrible and in some cases it's better than I expected at the start of the movie.
- there isn't a huge amount of 'action' but the opening sequence is a gun shoot out, this in some ways is well shot but also leaves you scratching your head why combat veterans are simply standing out in the open whilst firing amd not using any cover.
- there are some scenes at a gun range which feel almost comical especially with the female leads are performing target practice, again these are supposed to be well trained killers (attractive women in their twenties who cannot even hold a gun correctly).
- the rest of the film has some confusing plot holes which aren't massive but leave you scratching your head.
- the above considered it's not a classic but it's clearly low budget yet remains better than a number of recent movies which have been rolled out during the pandemic.

Well made horror film and I don't think there are many. This one has a story, good acting, suspense and, of course, horror but realistic horror, if that makes any sense. Because of the above there was a build up to the horror and they didn't put the gore in just for the sake of gore.

This movie is just wrong. It has a story that jumps all over the place, a poorly written script and terrible acting. As a result the movie is hard to follow. In general the characters are irrelevant, unidirectional and have no development throughout the movie. On a positive note some of the special effects are decent. Outside of that there was little to no entertainment value.

We are all now dumber. My family doesn't deserve this. I want my money back and it was free with Prime. Spoiler alert this movie sucks. Still not sure how this movie actually got made.

You have seen before and I am so happy it threw me for a loop. I am a CINEPHILE (and I do mean that in all caps) and have seen an crazy amount of storylines so it is insane to me that something could still make me jump out of my chaiand makes me so excited that this one truly took me by surprise. I credit this to the writer, Justin Price (who also produced, filmed and directed, apparently one of those multi talents of Hollywood we like to fantasize about being, who can combine his artist brain with what it takes to.

It's not an original concept but unique enough to make me press play and the opening scenes show this wasn't a cheaply slapped together movie. If each actor wore neon light that flashed "acting" with every word they said and every movement they made on camera would be the only thing that would make their portrayals more of a cartoon. Read the synopsis of the movie than fast forward until they reach the house after the second robbery, that's where a pretty good to very good horror movie begins. It's incredibly hard to figure out exactly what's happening and several developments come out of nowhere and the climax is a lot better than I anticipated.

Watching someone clean toilets is more educational.
Watching someone mow a lawn is more entertaining.
Waiting for leaves to fall from trees is a better spend of time.
Writing a review for this swill is an example of boredom's impact.

When I popped this on I was not ready for what I was about to get myself into. I was honestly not expecting too much from a film without big names promising action but this film's originality and execution baffled me. No matter how you may feel about the film (in my opinion it's incredibly well done but you do you) the plot twist it is not like anything you have seen before and I am so happy it threw me for a loop. I am a CINEPHILE (and I do mean that in all caps) and have seen an crazy amount of storylines so it is insane to me that something could still make me jump out of my chaiand makes me so excited that this one truly took me by surprise. I credit this to the writer, Justin Price (who also produced, filmed and directed, apparently one of those multi talents of Hollywood we like to fantasize about being, who can combine his artist brain with what it takes to realize a bigger vision...note to self: might be worth stalking after) .What I loved here is that nowadays stories often seem to blend and represent copies of "what worked before" so it was so refreshing to see someone actually make the effort to come up with a great big story that is filled with twists and turns you won't expect. It was so well thought out and a huge premise they executed tremendously. Loved the characters, especially the lead girl(Sage) who takes us on this journey with vulnerability, grace and a whole lot of badassery and effortlessly bring us on this adventure like we were just there witnessing it. The music was exceptional and I personally loved the way it was shot for the most part, the movement always kept you on the edge somehow and everyone looked great. So happy to see indie filmmakers really care to give the audience more than they could've even asked for! Honestly I loved this, great surprise for what I thought was gonna be "just another indieflick". Hope they get their recognition!

I had started this movie because obviously it was one I haven't seen before but I had nonidea it was a vampire movie. I assumed it was military or action packed style of movie. But what I want to know the most. Who sings the first song with the lyrics- a beautiful nightmare the usual fanfare*.....?

After pulling off a successful bank heist, a group of thugs are forced to take another heist job to complete their mission, but when this goes haywire and are forced to seek shelter in a remote house until the morning find themselves stalked by a brutal vampire and his minions causing them to get away.
There was quite a lot to like with this effort. Among its better features is that there's quite a strong storyline that manages to incorporate some fun setups and motivations for the group. Managing to get the reasoning behind their series of heists and how their black-ops skills carries across throughout here with the decision to work together on the ill-fated mission which is what strands them in the house, this early setup gives the film a lot to like. Seeing their interactions and trust issues to get free goes a long way towards getting this set up for the later half as the twists are quite fun as the changeover from a heist film to untrustworthy thugs and finally leading into the discovery of the vampire horde in the house. This comes along rather nicely and gives the film some exciting scenes. The atmosphere in the house here is a big factor for that, creating a strong sense of distrust and paranoia almost as much as their attitudes towards each other based on the current situation. The initial attacks on the group have a lot to like as the early hints of someone or something that their unaware of until it slowly dawns on them that they're dealing with a creature in the attack by the turned member or the chilling sequence with the investigating police officer seen through the body-cam footage. This goes into the latter half where the creatures become far more intense towards the dwindling group as their forced to fend off the imposing vampire king and his minions. The end result of all this provides the films' last positive in the enjoyable special effects-work throughout here. The main vampire is an undoubted highlight, going off the bulky, imposing body design with vicious claws and a large, bat-like demon face suggesting tons of power that come together for a great villain. The gore is just as good, offering up numerous bites and oozing wounds, entrails getting ripped out, inner organs being removed while still alive and much more, making for a lot of great work here. As well, when combined with the exciting opening featuring the group coming out of the bank robbery involving the groups' gunplay against the authorities to immediately open the film, this one has a lot to like about it. It does have a few issues. One of the biggest issues comes from the fact that because it springs the vampire twist so late in the film that it overlooks several elements crucial to understanding them and what they're about. There are hints that there's a folklore-inspired legend about conception yet it never says anything about why they're hiding out in the house, who the main vampire's trying to accomplish or even what the other group is there for as they tend to get ignored for large stretches of the film. Another issue here is a rather troublesome beginning to get there to the house which features tons of stereotypical tough-guy talk and not a lot in the way of action figuring out the double-crosses from the heist, leading to the flaws that bring this down.
Rated Unrated/R: Extreme Graphic Violence and Graphic Language.
