Kevin O'Brien, a series regular, started out as a fan who wrote to Dale Ahlquist, suggesting that he add other actors to his show.
G.K. Chesterton: The Apostle of Common Sense (2000) is also the title of Dale Ahlquist's first book on Chesterton.
Two other EWTN shows have gotten their starts through The Apostle of Common Sense Kevin O'Brien's 'Theater of The Word', and 'Young Catholic Minutes' were both picked up by studio execs while filming the Apostle of Common Sense.
