Lauren Lavera is back and being terrorized by a very different kind of demonic force in The Fetus. Lavera leads the cast of the horror movie as Alessa, a woman who is shocked to learn she's pregnant and, with her boyfriend, begins investigating the source of her pregnancy, which turns out to be of a demonic origin. Alongside Lavera, the Fetus cast includes fellow horror genre icon and frequent Rob Zombie collaborator Bill Moseley as Alessa's father, Maddox, and Are You Afraid of the Dark? alum Julian Curtis as her boyfriend, Chris.
With just over two months remaining until the movie hits theaters, Shining Light Pictures has released the first The Fetus trailer. The video begins by introducing Alessa and Chris, with the former being surprised by the revelation from her doctor that she's pregnant, while also warning the latter that her body doesn't work in the way most others do.
