It's been a while since i'v watched 'My Pride', so I've recently decided to rewatch the first season. I'm happy to say It's just as wonderful as I remember.
The writing and dialogue gives life to this series and it's characters. Every scene creating a binge worthy tale of drama and fantasy. I was never left bored and the pacing made sure you held on to every moment the characters were on screen.
The world building feels held back, but organized, mostly focusing on single sections. However I imagine this will change considering where the season final left off.
I would definitely watch this series over again, as it presents a mystery for the viewer both is story, and a little bit in animation.
Finally the animation, while limited it's a real treat to the eye when you get to see fluid animation. As it is an internet series I was blown away by the production. Of course being an art student I'm incredibly inspired although recent news by the series creator has opened up my mind to the amount of backbreaking labor, and tears put into such work.
I can definitely say this series is something everyone should watch, if not but for the love and passion put forth into every scene.

While I think it has some issues, My Pride is by far the best animated web series I've seen so far. It's super well-made in terms of direction, editing, animation, scoring, etc., but more importantly, it's almost always really compelling in multiple ways; the characters are complex and endearing, the story has many unique and unpredictable elements (as well as some really clever foreshadowing, on the other end of the spectrum), it has immersive worldbuilding that progresses well, and if you pay attention to its themes, the show may actually leave you with something to think about. On top of that, there is not a single dull moment in the second half of the season - it's really tightly structured and always manages to be captivating in one way or another, whether it's because it's intense, heartwarming, or uplifting, just to name a few adjectives. All that being said, though, My Pride does falter sometimes, mostly because of some minor continuity errors, but especially during some of the earlier episodes where the writing can be fairly bland and cliché. Thankfully, the show does have a strong introduction that's almost sure to hook you into the story, and it also picks up considerably towards the middle of the season. Overall, I'd highly recommend this show to anyone who's into fantasy that has a realistic edge or to anyone who wants to become invested in an interesting, endearing story. Awesome show.

I LOVE MY PRIDE! the plot twists, the backgrounds, the music, characters, EVERYTHING! I 100% recommended to everyone. I love the animation style and the way the creators do their art, SO GIVE THEM THE MONEY TO MAKE SEASON 2. Everything about this show flows so beautifully and smoothly

I love this show! I love the music, the characters, plot twists, the animation style. This show is the most original I've seen and I love everything! I hope there will be more series and episodes, because I love My Pride with all my heart, I've seen the 10 episodes like 3 times each!

Show was pretty good and the animation while looking simple was very aesthetically pleasing. One of the saddest things I've seen though. The Characters, while being alot of characters in the show, weren't overwhelming and each adds a certain value to the story and picture.
Overall a Decent show with simplistic Animation with beautiful design, characters and story that can be very saddening, I personally got connected to each character very quickly and enjoyed the expanded lore of the universe.
It'd be great for a season 2 or what if season. Many don't like how long it took or that Tribble doesn't finish her work. I thought it was great and the originality of it fits. The Production, Advertising and cast (just everyone in the crew really) deserves an applaud for the hard work they put it in. I hope to see it continued by the same people or atleast another OFFICIAL piece of media.
Do Recommend!!!

My Pride is hands down the BEST series I've ever seen. The animation, storyline, characters, voice acting and musical score is perfection! I personally love the display of feminism, the lgbtq+ community, the misogyny of the real world and proving that disabled people are no less than any other person. A huge thank you to Maddi Patton and the My Pride team, for making this spectacular series that has taught me to always stay strong and be proud of who you are.
