Based loosely on Glenn Beck's own childhood, the Christmas Sweater is a story about family, faith, and the greatest gift in life: forgiveness. Beginning in 2007, Glenn began working on translating this powerful book to the stage. In December of 2008, the show was premiered at Heinz Hall in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and followed with an 11 city tour across America - featuring a live orchestra, original music by Blake Ragghianti, and cinematic animation created expressly for this production. The DVD version features Glenn's presentation of the Christmas Sweater from the Charleston Performing Arts Center in South Carolina on December 17, 2008. The Christmas Sweater is an exciting and compelling piece of theater. Filled with warmth and humor, it tells the story of real people as they come to terms with tragedy, family, redemption, love and the power of faith. It is the most personal story Glenn has ever told.
