This much anticipated series has North South adventure and a charming romance. I enjoyed the first 2 episodes very much. Jung Hae In and Jisoo are luminous. She acts surprisingly well. Charming and lovely. He is as always completely watchable and sympathetic. The 1980 setting is brought to life.

It looks like they didn't spare expense to make this a grand looking authentic sweeping drama. The supporting cast is all top notch and familiar to K drama fans. Haven't felt so excited about a show like this since Crash Landing.

All in all, the drama is very good along with the plot. Jung Hae-In stood out the most to me. His character had different emotional aspects and he managed all very well.

But the ending was too tragic too watch....

I am a Jung Hae-in's fan since Something in the Rain, so all this time I've been waiting patiently for Snowdrop's release. Although I didn't particularly like the pilot, I found it too confusing for a non SK Korean viewer like me who has no idea about this time of SK history, I kept on watching. I wasn't disappointed. The drama is getting better and better, the story so far is moving on with a fast tempo (it's not been dragged following the kdrama rule) and is kinda unpredictable with plot twists in every single episode.

Jung Hae-in is giving a stellar performance imo, his acting range is on display for everyone to see. Jisoo is doing a decent job considering this is her debut drama. Their chemistry is brilliant, I could get Sooho's and Yeongro's mutual attraction from the start.

As for the history distortion, I suppose I will have to make my own search to understand better the political background of the 1987 South Korea. My curiosity on the matter is been triggered; I suppose many will feel the same and if this happens it's a gain for both Snowdrop and the country.

Best drama of the year. Cinematography, soundtrack so good. The all casts doing great job here. Storyline really well it's not only a romantic drama but really intense of thrill , happy , sad and like an emotional roller coaster ride you don't know what will happen next it keeps the viewers excited . I truly recommend this . If you love romance related drama surely this is one of the best option to watch an intense love story . The plots are amazing . Mind blowing .

I really dont expect much actually at first but i like it so far. I enjoyed all the characther and rooting for their love story.

It's just a fiction, okay? It's not based on real life story, they're just exaggerating to cancel the drama because it's a kpop idol. If it's their favorite actress being the main character, they'll be supporting this drama. But because it's Jisoo, they're like, OmG hEr aCtInG iS sO bAd, tHe dRaMa dIsTOrTs chuchuchu.

Love this drama so much..And haesoi fighting! Also side actor and actress are so good..Jisoo is new? Nah..I can't believe..her acting skills are on another level..JISOO IS AWESOME ACTRESS..And Also All Those Actor And Actress...It's Just A Masterpiece!!!! Looking Forward To It !!!

Snowdrop is one of drama you can watch in this winter. How they introduction all characters is really smooth, and can wait for the next episode. As new actress, Jisoo is really shining there.

Superb writer, director, and cast, but they are bogged down in a bloated, repetitive series. The actors all play against type and stretch their skills; however, the story becomes overblown in secondary scenes with boring, shrieking characters and far too long episodes filled with talk and constant repetition. And then there is the contemptible attack on innocent college students that stretches credulity episode after long episode to the predictable outcome. Tacking on a scene afterwards does little to relieve the numb disappointment in what could have been an exhilarating story. It could have been great; it is instead just okay.

But, If you have just little bit of interest about the history of Democratic Movement against military tyranny Government, just do not watch this.

This Movement continues from 70th till late 80th.

There was no North-Korean Espionage in the protesters.

This Drama justifies the former 'Jonduwhan' Military Government and this is serious Humiliation of peace and Democracy-loving all Korean citizens.

I've watched episode one with my family. We all laughing and so exciting . I really love the scenes and the actors are so good. I'm really love to see Jisoo in this series with Jung HAE in. I love all the actors(actressess) their acting were so talented. I'M SO IN LOVE WITH THIS MOVIE.

The drama is Very Good so far. This is Art Guys, Look at it through the aesthetic eye. The cast crew is very powerful and Story is also Good. Even OSTs are heart touching. As a rookie actress Jisoo's acting is also Commendable. Congratulations on her acting career! Other actors are Perfect as usual.

Btw it is really disappointing that Disney+ have streaming limits for Snowdrop. And it is not released in India. If it isn't this is gonna break records!

I invite all of you to enjoy this drama from an artistic point of view disregarding the so-called historical controversy and personnel hatred.

Snowdrop is one of the most awaited series this winter. But unfortunately a lot of controversy about the fictional story raised in this story. A student's love story with a North Korean spy who was deemed too sensitive would change history in the 1980s. The student falls in love with a man she doesn't know is a North Korean spy. So afraid of shifting the dark history of how students at that time were considered enemies because they demanded the unfair South Korean government at that time. Because the student was protecting North Korean spies, who were enemies of South Korea, it was feared that it would describe how students at that time were considered to be defending the enemy. However, based on the fictional story of the drama series, the female college student doesn't know that the man she loves is a spy. But other than that, snowdrop is a good drama series.

I have to said that I am loving this drama so much, the actors, their chemistry and the history is doing very well for me. I suport Jisoo in her first drama and I think she is great as a actress too and no only as a idol.

This show is EVERYTHING. I like many underestimated it due to lack of details but now after watching the first two episodes I can confidently say that Snowdrop is one of the best Kdramas ever made. It tackles so many things perfectly and I am impressed that nothing feels like a filler. This drama has so many characters and arcs but everything is balanced. The cinematography is amazing, every single scene looks beautiful. The soundtrack is out of this world and don't make me talk about the cast. EVERY SINGLE ACTOR in this drama has outperformed themselves. Amazing performances by everyone from leads to supporting. Special shoutout out to Jisoo who aced her debut lead role of Young Ro. This drama has something for everyone. It has romance, comedy, politics, thrills and fair share of action. It will definitely keep you at the edge of your seat.

This is amazing story. From the start you can see such a beautiful opening with the ost & cinematography on point. This is not a serial drama!! This is movie.

At first it's really an awesome drama..I am already obsessed..ad its a long awaited drama so I also waited a long and I LOVE THIS DRAMA..as a blink I support my jisoo with my full heart.. But I have to tell about the other actress and actors too..cause they are soo good..And the story is going to be interesting I think.. I am already loving all those characters..

Ending just made me literally cried...Its too painful. Would love to see this beautiful amazing in another show.

Snowdrop killed it a painful romance but hearttouching.

PROS: The casting is prefect (full of great actors), the acting was very goo because they really have great impact and cinematography was awesome. The movie has a lot of plot twist though.

CONS: A little bit boring and sad because the movie was focused more on those bad people and a Never ending struggle up until the end is just too much.

It is a waste drama that distorts history to the extent that Hitler said it was right. It is a vicious drama that disparages a citizen who achieved democracy as a spy and glorifies a dictator who slaughtered citizens.

The drama is great, I'm looking forward to the next episodes, I hope everyone should have a better view, I've watched every episode so I'm very proud of Jisoo, I'll always support the drama and keep fighting , I love you guys.
