Utterly terrifying in the best way

This episode was a love letter to the best of the best of this genre. It's evolving from a mystery horror to a commentary on the human condition. I love, love, LOVE the way we see things from Dan's and Melody's differing points of view. I also love getting more and more of the puzzle pieces that make this story so compelling.

The supporting cast is so well done and their characters are unsettling and lovely. The music, I feel, needs more accolades because it's brilliantly done.

Some of the best modern horror I've seen

Its best not to know anything going into this series. Must watch for horror fans. Not since hill house has a season of television haunted me so. I want more of this.

    Keeps getting better and better!

I'm loving everything about this series. Such a great cast and performances. The writing is awesome.

I'm so intrigued and I'm binge watching it right now.

    Escalating in a horrific way

One of the best episodes I've seen in a long time in a TV series.

Amazing, spectacular.. the building up of events, things are escalating, and it gets even darker, I'm curious how it's going to be in the next few episodes.

    Blurred lines.

Dan is struggling with reality, Melody continues to look for her mother.

I'm not sure about you, but here I definitely got a few vibes of AHS, plenty of horror, but it wasn't daft, it wasn't overdone, nor was it needlessly gruesome, it was just chilling, the seance scene, one of the best things I've seen in ages.

All I thought was going on here, has been turned on its head, I'm not quite at the stage where I don't know what's going on, but clearly all is not what it seemed.

Definitely getting darker, and going further off the beaten track, this was deliciously dark and thought provoking.

The focus seems to switch from Dan to Melody, it makes it all the more interesting, Dina Shihabi was awesome here.

    9/10.

    • Trivia
Tuning forks from the 14th century would indeed be a spectacular find. Musical historiography ascribes the invention of the tuning fork to English trumpeter John Shore in 1711, a contemporary of Haendel, four centuries later.
    • Goofs
In Episode 1 Davenport clearly states "there is no internet here". In Episode 4 he mentions to Dan "You didn't upload today"....
