Skye is preparing for another great year of her business, 'Lather and Luxury', when her childhood sweetheart Gavin arrives in town to help improve her business model; she initially refuses, and sparks soon fly.

Gavin Rogers left his home town and inconspicuous brother Cole to help their ruthless father Vance run a Fortune 500 company, which constantly buys smaller firms all over the East Coast. Now he's sent from their New York HQ back home, where Rogers&Rogers purchased the mall, to fix or remove tenants in trouble. Key among those is Lather and Luxury, the small bath and body business run by his school flame Skye Parker and her mother, Linda. It's popular and personal but not lucrative, so he has many marketing suggestions, resulting in better prospects for her and the town. Meanwhile, both families realize their bud-nipped high-school love rekindles even before they acknowledge it. Having agreed at the start to keep it professional, which proves impossible, surrounded by memories, only Vance wants his right hand back fast to close a foreign deal.—A man
