As the Marvel Universe expands, these mini-documentaries made from clips from the Marvel movies remind us of the history of the characters as they spin off into lives of their own. WARNING: They may make you want to watch all the movies again in sequence. I give these mini-docs a 7 (good) out of 10. {Marvel Universe Character Documentaries}

Smarten up you guys it's not bad , I liked the Wanda episode because it showed her story and how powerful she is , most people forget how she came to be in the movies and who her Character is? Understand that before y'all say negative stuff

This show is good for people who haven't seen all the movies, but it is still enjoyably for those who want to see a recap of the marvel legends. I give this snow a 9/10. I recommend it to everybody who has seen all marvel movies and hasn't.
Nothing but hype marketing, meant to keep the fanboys giddy during this Hollywood drought.
It's bits and pieces we've already seen, stitched together. It's actually funny how some zomboids have gotten so excited over this! ...or, weird...

WANDA MAXIMOFF - A good initial episode. It really shows the trauma and pain she went through in the Infinity Saga. I can't wait for WandaVision.
VISION - Another good episode! It's great to see the JARVIS clips and it's emotional that the episode ends not long after Vision's death in Infinity War
THE FALCON - The worst episode of the first four. It wasn't amusing and was barely about Sam. It was largely just clips of other characters
THE WINTER SOLIDER - It was alright. Not nearly as good as I hoped, but I'm still hyped for The Falcon And The Winter Solider
ZEMO - Zemo is one of my favourite villains in the MCU so I honestly loved this. His backstory is so tragic and to see this was very saddening
SHARON CARTER - Another alright episode. One of the worst of the current six episodes, but it was fun to see the events of Winter Solider and Civil War from Sharon's perspective
LOKI - Loki has been through a lot of development throughout the Infinity Saga so this is one of the best episodes in the show. Really fun to watch
THE TESSERACT - This was a very unnecessary episode, but it's still a fun watch.
BLACK WIDOW - Natasha is one of my favourite characters in the MCU and this captures her quite well, but it is still difficult to capture nine years worth of her in movies in a ten minute montage.

This show brings back memories from past movies and shows character development. helps me be prepared for WandaVision. seen the movies, hasn't, good either way.
I don't know why this show is so criticised , it's only a recap for each character and the series of events he went throught , it's just like a reminder of all previous movies

Nice TV show. Have some pretty short episode about some characters or objects and see some strong moments seen in others movies. Very good to see again some moments and to see the characters.

For fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, 'Marvel Studios Legends' on Disney+ is not really a documentary series, it's actually a supercut to examine every Marvel Cinematic Universe character!
For me, it's one hell of a clip show to watch!
For me, it's one hell of a clip show to watch!
I'm ranking this seven stars because the first seven episodes are worth 10 stars each. Each one was presented a good two months after the finish of their televised series. We get to hear from the actors and actresses about their experiences playing the role. We get to hear from the directors about their vision from when they started until the finished product that we all saw. We get to see all kinds of behind the scenes footage about how it was made. I'm not going to swear persay, but fing awesome!
The next 5 episodes are worth about one star. They are essentially overblown trailers for movies that we've already seen before (Twice? Three times?). Maybe there was some sort of contractual obligation that required that they had to meet 12 episodes in a given amount of time? To be honest, as a fan, I would rather wait for the next episode of Marvel Legends two or three months after the fact and witness all the good and the bad about how it was made. Movies and series alike.

The first two "episodes" are Wanda and Vision. Basically 7 minute trailers for upcoming Wanda & Vision TV series.
I anticipate the next two will probably be Falcon and The Winter Soldier.
These are basically a compilation of clips from the movies, nothing new and not like the "Marvel 1 Shot" series inbetween the movie releases.
Waste of time. I've seen better fan made clips on Youtube.

It's what it is, people, a recap of the characters through the MCU. Don't expect something new or a documentary. The edit, the logo and the music was good. We have a bunch of movies and series coming out these years and it is a good experience to remember their story. Can't wait for new episodes.

It's a show recapping what's happened to the characters from the MCU. It's not meant to be this action packed film-like series. I don't see why people hate it so much

.... but not in a good way. it's basically just a compilation of each character from the movies what they are in, with instrumental music playing in the background to provoke emotion. if this is what you want, you can find way way better fan edits online. it might improve as the series goes on but i'm not to convinced.

Marvel had the opportunity to create something awesome but failed so hard. A bland recap without any depth or aspiration. With all the heroes and villians is this all we get? Every youtuber could create this while blindfolded. This show is truly legendary, but for all the wrong reasons.

Marvel said what is this they said that a reference to the old movies it just basically the things we saw in the old movies
And it's great. It feels nostalgic for us marvel fans

If you have just started watching Wandavision or the falcon and the winter soldier you should watch Legends 1st. It will give you an overview about that character which you are going to see in the series. If you're a true marvel fan getting goosebumps and feeling emotional is just normal while watching this show. 🙂

Having already seen Wandavision, this series of what seems like trailers of past character arcs is a massive disappointment. Im not entirely sure who they thought would be.interested in this? Or why they'd want to waste money on it? Honestly, the mind boggles.
Not much better than a fan edit really.

There was an idea, to bring together a group of remarkable people to see if they could become something more. To see if they could work together when we needed them to, to fight the battles that we never could.
10 years of Suit building, Hammer smashing and Shield blocking fantasy was brought life.
My MCU journey began with Iron Man 2 at the time I was a noob nerd. Then after 10 years I'm a Marvel encyclopedia.
The MCU isn't perfect. It's not the worse, but it is the best at continuing a story for over 10 years. Maybe thanks to Disney, but I've never seen a superhero movie non MCU make it pass 3 movies. X-men doesn't count because they kept rebooting and had tons of character goofs.
The MCU is a good studio that was able to suck the money, energy and imagination from me. The only MCU movies I did not see in theater was: Iron Man 1 (I wasn't into the superhero thing during its release),
Iron Man 2 (found it at Walmart it basically started my movie collection),
Iron man 3 because it looked like hash
Lastly Spider-Man far from home (that movie looked garbage, I was right.)
My favourite MCU movies are:
THOR 1,2,3
Avengers 1-4.
Winter solider was good too.
The bad MCU movies were:
Iron Man 3,
Spider-Man far from home,
Dr. Strange
GOTG 2
5 Best Hero Characters: 1. THOR,
2. Captain America,
3. Black Panta,
4. Quicksilver
5. Rocket Raccoon
5 Best Villains: 1. Loki,
2. Thanos,
3. Hela,
4. Killmonger,
5. Hydra
3 Best Moments (I can't choose them all) 1. Iron Man 2 end credit,
2. Infinity War/Endgame heroes
3. Cap Elevator scene
honorable mention: THOR "as long as we are all in agreement" as he catches both Stormbreaker and Mjolnir
Top 5 wasted characters 1. Ultron
2. Odin
3. Spiderman
4. Drax
5. Hawkeye.
Overall, the MCU is good, fun and engaging. The MCU like I said isn't perfect however it is easily the best studio of all time. There are sometimes I go why did MCU do that? Then I realize the MCU is a different universe from the comics therefore things need to be different.
What can be learned? A lot of things
Verdict: Avengers Assemble!
If you are reading this review and see a wall of text that was all IMDB.

I was hoping for a series that delved into the creation of each character from the comics side - who created it, first drew it, first appearance, etc.
This isn't it. This is just a collection of scenes and and voices from what's already been seen in the Marvel movies - things we've already seen and heard.
Maybe I expected to much, I was hoping for something fresh and new. Not a rehash of what I already know.
Feels more like a promotional tool then anything insightful or meaningful.

I personally think it is pretty cool how they give a refresher on the main characters in the shows before they air. This isn't anything special, but it is a very unique Marvel thing to do.
If you feel like you need a refresher before watching one of the Marvel shows, I definitely recommend watching these shorts, they are really helpful.

Depends how you wish to interpret these shorts and if you're a true fanatic, but if you like reminiscing or in need of a recap, these shorts have you covered. Am episode usually runs concurrently with the Disney+ Show/movie that gets released, this show has you covered ready!
