A film proposing the ingredients of a state, more than a story itself. It reminds me, in some measure, Romania of the last decade of XX century. Two mates, their ambiguous relation, their work up in a camp, life in an apartment, hunt of gays , fascination for cars . Their games. And, maybe the must significant detail, admirable cinematography. The end - a blockhouse and the music of a cello remains long term memory. Short, a beautiful-bitter chain of Russian scenes , slices of an age and of a troubled relation.
