Principal photography began on December 16, 2020 and concluded on January 26, 2021. The film had its world premiere at the Mammoth Film Festival on February 3, 2022. On February 18, Screen Media Films acquired the film's distribution rights and it was released in January 2023.
When Simone (Ashley Greene)first appears in the Immaculate Room,she is completely nude.Almost immediately,Katherine (Kate Bosworth)tells Mike(Emile Hirsch)to give Simone his shirt so that she could cover herself.An early draft of the script had Katherine and Mike voluntary removing their clothes and going nude along with Simone in order to promote a feeling of comfort and equality in the room.
Ashley Greene said it was fun playing Simone because she was so uninhibited.
Ashley Greene's first nude scene was when she performed topless in the third season of the Rogue (2013) series. The Immaculate Room is her first full nudity.
