As its title implies, "Sleigh Bells in the Snow", the novel the film is based on, is very explicitly set around Christmas, which is not the case with this adaptation.
Aired as the third of five original films in The Hallmark Channel's 2021 "New Year New Movies" lineup, replacing the "Winterfest" lineup of previous years.
