It's not over until the fat man sings, and 10 minutes in I'm singing soprano with gusto. Feels like Tom Sizemore has given up on his craft and Michael Madsen must have been there for the free food. If you manage to keep watching, you will be rewarded with bad acting and vocal fry. The movie should have used Robert LaSardo more, he was the best actor in this thing. Not even the brief nudity at 56:38 and the following shower scene could raise my rating. Would I recommend this, nope.

Do not watch this movie high. Beware it is the worst acting ever. Especially Michael madsen in the first scene. He sounds like he is reading his lines for the first time and having a hard time seeing the words. That's about as far as I got into the movie while writing this review. You've been warned. Enjoy! I'm sad I never saw the movie that came before this. Also ladies, do not flash boobs for alcohol. There is an Edward Norton (younger years) evil character lookalike. I honestly have no idea what is going on in this movie but it makes for a good distraction and background noise. Probably should watch the first movie.
It's a sequel to Burial Ground Massacre. I knew something was wrong, but when everything is wrong, it's easy to miss it. Anyway, the plot you read on IMDB starts about 1 hour into the movie, don't even remember what happened before that. It has some hilariously bad moments, and overall the line deliveries, sound editing and dialog are all so terrible that you may get a decent laugh out of it. Not 100% sure there was a plot though.

The cast has been at it again. Over the top ratings to fool people.
When will IMDB take action against this type of voting.
Acting is worse than a school play, terrible incoherent story, directionless and either over acting or just plain bad acting.
Oh, and did I mention the bad acting, shameful really
Avoid at all costs
A 1 beause I made it to minute 56 before wanting to shoot my TV.

Story was strong, if not original, cast was better than "B" grade.......played out well but seemed as if the cast was told..."Don't rehearse, It will seem more natural if read off an auto autocue machine"
So looks like Zero direction, Zero retakes, Zero impute into how the scenes were filmed....
The actors just took the easy money an run....
Tom....your better than this???

Lack of plot, acting, anything redeeming. Could you make it anymore obvious that the positive reviews are fake? Most of these reviews complimenting the acting when in an objective reality it has some of the worst acting I have seen in any film period. IMDB really needs to get control of the fake reviews and ratings. Any person with a brain would see this is no more than a 1 star. You would show this in university film classes to show students exactly what NOT to do. Unacceptable excuse for a movie.
This is one of the worst movies I have ever seen. The characters are overdone stereotypes and the acting is so bad that I spent half of the movie thinking it was a foreign film with terrible voice actors. Also I think the world could do without Native American villains, especially ones referred to with a slur. The ending, like the rest of the movie, was predictable. I've never bothered to review a movie publicly, but this was so abominable that if I can save even one person from wasting their time watching this, it will be worth me wasting my time writing this. I really hope everyone involved with this project considers a career change.

The more stupid, the rougher names the dafter the games, loads of names of the past, some have had some real good assisting roles back then, but their stardome has faded since then, and itll soon be time to shut the cuffin due to lack of talent.
A film produced and acted this way, where inconsistence are the rule, and tunnelvision seems to be the norm, and worst of all dragging indigeonous peoples mythological mysteries into the salad is not very honourable filmaking at all, cause its all coming from the idea of halloween, just a bit more testosterone filled and stashly bearded styled men, and bellybuttonringed lesbianistic experimentrialismic females, trying to run away form a nightmare, a nightmare thats imposed on you like youve seen 10 prequels to this one...
no, look at the brand, and look at the names, tom sizemore wont get bigger, and michael madsen wont become mads mikkelsen, thats for sure. And the grumpy old man wont be any younger, wastng valuable time left to live on homebreed stuff like this, its just a notch above one...''hud'' by løckeberg is better than this.

Honestly, I didn't expect to like this movie as much as I did. I've seen a lot of bad horror movies and this isn't bad. I also read almost nothing but negative reviews for this movie and just wasn't expecting much. But I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. The cinematography looks nice and the acting is really solid all around. Chelsea Vale gave a great performance as Adrianna. That last scene - chills. Well directed.

There's something about movies like this that always get me. I was glued to the screen right to the very end. Adriana was my favorite character and the way it ended had me on edge. Exciting movie, a really fun thriller. Easily 7 stars.

After surviving the Liberty Manor massacre in Rhode Island, Adrianna (Chelsea Vale) is viewed as a sort of local celebrity. Her wild child friend from college (Hannah Dannelly) invites her out to a rural vacation home to party with friends and recover. Unfortunately, Tina has an unhealthy interest in the massacre and, worse, the Wampanoag mafia chief might no longer be in custody. Havoc ensues.
"Damon's Revenge" (2022) adequately relays what happens to the survivors of the film from the year before, but you won't find much elaboration on the title character. Disregarding his appearing in a recap, Damon doesn't surface until the very end. I was hoping for details on why he likes to torment Indian lasses in his torture chamber, as well as why the Wampanoag mafia hired him (no doubt because he's an effective killer, huh?).
Another issue is that this isn't as ambitious as the first movie, but at least it's a little creative with the hackneyed cabin-in-the-woods plot. The nudity is way toned down and there are no torture chamber sequences (not that I care about either). The women aren't as notable either. Still, the voice dubbing has been fixed (compared to the prior film) and Chelsea Vale makes for a serviceable protagonist, plus there are enough interesting things to keep one's attention, like the Wampanoag chief convincing an Indian deputy to do such-and-such.
The film runs 1 hour, 29 minutes, and was shot in Cromwell, Connecticut, which is in the heart of the state just south of Hartford on the Connecticut River.
GRADE: C+

At first glance Damon's Revenge may seem like a run of the mill horror sequel but that isn't the case. The writers implemented various twists and turns that always kept the story interesting and moving at a brisk fun pace. It's important to add that the actors always kept every scene alive with energy. Producer/Actor Chelsea Vale really pushed the envelope in the next stage of her character Adriana's development. Damon's Revenge guarantees a good time. Also, Damon's return from Burial Ground Massacre (2021) will give any Michael Madsen fan a smile on their face.

So i ended up watching this on Prime and I was impressed. The story has been done many times, a group of young adults stay at a friends house by the lake and then things take off from there. Lots of good filmmaking, more good then bad. Not a totally predictable plot either with lots of jump scares and some humor. Good effort either way, i'm looking forward to the next one.

Not as good as the first one but i loved sequels and they did great. The editing was fast paced and the acting was passionate and realistic. Some parts did seemed rushed but if you can look past the fact that this was done with a smaller budget you will enjoy it. Worth the ticket money, well done to everyone involved.

I loved the movie, i definitely recommend watching it if you enjoyed the first one. Acting was ok but could do better. People that gave it a low rating probably skipped half of the movie. It's a good weekend movie.
Lots of good actors and scares. This one was much better then the first and the storyline flowed well without any continuity issues. Editor did a great job putting this together. My type of saturday night movie.

I think many people were excited and drawn to this movie because of Michael Madsen but the plot is predictable and nearly everything in the movie was shown in the trailer. Yes there are "plot twists" but they weren't that surprising. It's an ok watch in my opinion. It's not the worst but it's not the best. I have to say though, the acting in this movie was amazing and was one of the only things that kept me watching even when I pretty much knew what was going to happen. Also the plot is very slow in the beginning and speeds up at the end which makes it seem kinda rushed.

So glad the sequel is here and yes I honestly did enjoy it. The plot was like a continuation and things started of a little slow but picked up quickly. Great acting and the editing and cinematography was on point. An exciting thriller.
Damon's Revenge is a great fun sequel. I watched it and loved it. Great story, amazing actors. You can tell everyone worked hard to make a great film. The Gore and Deaths were brutal. I loved Perry!!!!

Plenty of twist and turns and the fim is entertaining so I'll give them that. Some parts honestly didn't make sense but I was still drawn into it honestly. I'd say watch it. Entertainment value it's high up there.
