I've watched 2 episodes, and all I can say is that WIT delivered once again with the stunning visuals, and I can easily put my trust into Tappei about how the storytelling's gonna play out.
Looking forward to the future of this anime a lot.

What does "putting your heart into something" mean to you?
After giving up on Attack on Titan, WIT Studio returns with another anime. In a world where human coexist with AIs, an AI singer, Diva, had to save the world from the apocalyptic future where AI took over.
In typical WIT studio fashion, the animation was absolutely gorgeous and stunning. The 'Fluorite' in 'Fluorite Eye' refers to the type of lens that made up Diva's eyes, and many times there were closed-up shots of her eyes. With the superb animation, those lens became breathtaking and just made me awe a little. Also, the actions were amazing, although some scenes were a little too fast to see the movement completely. Easily the most beautiful animation this Spring season.
So there's 'Song' in the title, and initially I thought this was just a singing anime, but the first scene of the first episode straightened me out. It ain't no beautiful innocent anime, but actually a good amount of violence and deaths that elevated the stake of the plot.
Each arch, Vivy had to change certain part of history while not making a significant change in result. This part reminded me of Violet Evergarden, where she met different people, got to know them, and made memories. I cried so damn hard. Although Vivy did deliver the emotions like Evergarden, it wasn't as impactful that would steal tears from me.
Of course, the music, because it's in the title. The Opening of this song was fresh and beautiful. It's one of those few anime where I didn't skip the Opening (no shame). It's a blessing to my ears. Other singing scenes in this anime were also as beautiful.
This led to the final song in the last episode. It's a strong and powerful end note that conveyed the main theme of the show. It's about passion, purpose, and free will, and ironically told from the perspective of an AI that had a designated purpose, which was to sing to make everyone happy.
Another bit of awesomeness was the symbol. Like the two pills in The Matrix, the human's and AI's blood were red and blue, respectively. There was a scene in episode 6, where this symbol was clear and made a powerful impact on our main character.
Overall, an excellent and beautiful anime that delivered powerful theme and story. I just wanted the emotion to hit me more. 8.5/10.

This anime is really out of this world. Wit studio is just amazing, this is what happens when you give anime studios time and breaks to complete an anime. This anime might not have the same hype as demon slayer or dbs, but i honestly believe if it continues going the way its going with its phenomenal writing and animation itll reach that hype in no time...a masterpiece and really cant wait for more.

Seeing the first part until the middle minutes of this anime, I said to myself that it is not worse than this anime, but suddenly everything changed. Everything went perfectly and made me watch the continuation of this anime.

WIT studio is my fav but can't say that I enjoyed it. How to say... After Attack on Titan and Vinland Saga adaptations from WIT I expected very serious story but nope there's nothing like that. It feels like every other okay anime out there.
WIT drawing style is very unique and they really care about quality so visually it is very good.

As I watched the first few episodes of the show, the review title was the first thought that came to my mind. What if Hatsune Miku went on a futuristic rescue operation? To an extent, yes, it indeed gave a taste of unoriginality, but that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy the show.
The persona 'Vivy' had a pretty stoic perspective to her objective, 'My mission is to make people happy with my singing', a main character which felt distant in terms of connecting with the viewer. I guess her being an AI could make it relatable. But speaking of characters, it leaves a lot to be desired, considering we have seen typical characters like Vivy (the reserved and stoic android protagonist) or Matsumoto (the annoying know-it-all side-kick). There was much less character development than it could have been done in the show.
Despite having the ideal looks within the female AIs and the perfect body in terms of anime tropes, I'd say most viewers would forget the whole writing.
The script had a lot of dialogues (esp. For Matsumoto), which seemed to brag on about the knowledge the writers had about technology, put into writing the whole thing, instead of actually developing the characters whilst the screen-time given. This was one of the reasons of average writing I felt in the story, added with tawdry sentimentality often times to compensate, to make an average viewer believe the show being a 'masterpiece-of-the-year' or some similar disillusion. The dialogues were at best average, since I couldn't find anything new compared to previous anime in similar genres. It can be said, the writer(s) of the show were academically qualified, but not in artistic sense.
The story as a whole had a simple basis with a long in-story timeline. It did feel distant in the beginning but began to develop over time. There were certain good instances of drama through the show, capable of expressing genuine emotions. But these are few. In a small way, the story felt disconnected through the characters, during shifts between the various timelines. Sometimes the whole thing felt rushed through the action or character sequences, which could have been done better if the creators breathed a moment and redone in a slower progress of story, focusing events and more on characters. Though by the end of Episode 11, I'd say the story has developed well enough to be appreciated by the common viewer.
Animation was top-notch, Wit Studio doing an amazing job. But on contrary, Vivy's overall production reminded of its studio predecessor - Great Pretender. Though not as bad as the latter, Vivy showed similar lines of average writing as to 'Great Pretender', the latter which was a script disaster with poorly written characters, despite the amazing animation and art direction.
The music associated with the show did relate with the protagonist's basis, but seemed too J-Pop for a sci-fi anime aimed at viewers of various locations in the world. Let's say, K-On was an anime about music, being based on real-life Japan. Thus, the music influenced in that show could be understood. As for Vivy, it didn't focus well on the music side, despite it being a co-musical show. The songs they sang sounded like disjointed prose, and instead, the viewer might have been eager to continue the story ahead.
In a nutshell - Anime/manga fans would like the show and it's worth the watch, there's no doubt. But critically speaking, it's an action-based musical anime set in an upcoming dystopia. Seems too much to focus on, I'd say. Not to mention, the run-of-the-mill recurring character types that have plagued anime. Some things need to change hereafter long periods of ignorance, lax structure and abuse of the same in the industry, providing the viewers with stories/shows with great potential and yet substandard executions. A show cannot be deemed great, let alone 'a masterpiece' if this cannot be realised. A thought of concern regarding basic quality.

Ummm this anime didn't really catch my eye like I expected, the anime is good but the fact that the main character is an ai doesn't make much sense and the fact that the genre has nothing to do with musical stuff but yet they in all episodes and I ask myself why didn't they make one of the musical then Instead of thriller. I gave a 4 over 10 because of that mistake always make an anime based on the genre please it's really important anyway I really love the fighting scene they are fantabulous especially when vivy fought kata whatever is name is for a fact it's really dope and also the fight on the sunrise really entertaining.

I have watched episodes 1-13. The anime feels like a masterpiece, or at least it made me think 'is this a masterpiece'?
Why is it so good? Maybe because underneath the surface it is intelligent, wise, and moral (instead of ending on cliff hangers, the episode ends in a way that makes you feel satisfied or fulfilled).
If you will watch an anime, or even just a tv series, anyway, please watch this.
Other series or movies I have rated highly: 'Great Pretender', 'Messiah', 'The OA', 'Sense8', 'Beastars', 'Dark', and the movies 'Interstellar' and 'Arrival'.

The anime looks cool and the protagonist look gorgeous and hot lmao so yeah i'm looking forward for this anime it has the potential to be the best anime this season or maybe this year who knows.
First episode is not terrible, introduces the premise and it's a key to setup the rest of the season. Second episode is the payoff. This is where the humanistic relationships that the protagonist starts shaping the story and character layers, and where the sidekick quirky comedy starts to shine. The premise of the dangers and benefits of AI haven't been fully explored at this point yet, so I'm looking forward to seeing how the writers handle this topic and how it relates to our current world. Finally, the action and animation are first-rate, which makes me really look forward to the upcoming immersive journey.
Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song is a very enjoyable anime that has a good balance between character interactions/dialogues and action. The visuals are also beautiful.
I would've named it easily anime of the season. Unfortunately the last episode felt rushed and was confusing in what was actually happening. I don't really want to spoil anything about the contents of the show as I'd still recommend to watch it. The music is also very good.
The problem is that after the ending I'm feeling unsatisfied as I don't think the questions that have been asked throughout the series have really been answered. A lot of things happen in the finale but they don't really fit together very well and just seem like they had to finish it at that point somehow leaving the viewer with open questions.
There also are some plot holes that are bothering me. Still I will say that the show overall is enjoyable.

Animation 10/10
Sound and music 9/10
Story (depends on how many movies and anime you have watched ) Less than 50 9/10 more than 50......... 7/ 10 (will get to this in a minute)
Alright so here is 2B from NierAutomata or Violet evergarden, she is robotic with no emotions as you well know, this time she is contacted by the Doc from Back to the future because the terminators have finally destroyed humanity and so she is set to become a new terminator that will save humanity from SKYNET but "travelling in time" see, modifying the necessary events so that the terminators don't destroy humanity. But here is the catch she is also an IDORU that looks like HATSUNE MIKU and so she sings and like violet evergarden who was trying to find the meaning of I LOVE YOU she in turn is trying to find the meaning of SINGING FROM THE HEART. Philosophically I like that it deals with some of the issues that the animatrix did and it does make you think. If this is your first time watching something like this is will BLOW YOUR MIND and this could very well be this generation´s animatrix, if you have some experience under your belt you will be able to connect the parts and it will lose some of its shine.

Vivy is an example of how an amazing production with a brilliant script and an overwhelming animation can generate marvellous outcome. WIT Studio has done a tremendous job with regards to the detailed animation in Vivy.
An original Sci-Fi/Action/Musical Anime, Vivy succeeds and surpasses all the expectations that can be expected from an anime. From a topnotch animation and superb storyline with a flawless execution, to displaying an emotional connection between the characters and brilliantly created action sequences, Vivy touches you by every means.
Although it was extremely fast paced, just clocking 13 episodes and covering 100 years of journey (with multiple time skips), it didn't lose a grip over the story which made it more perfect eventually. Undoubtedly, Vivy should be easily make a spot in the 'Top 5 Best Anime of 2021'
GOOD Soundtrack was amazing, and the VA did a very good job.
The Animation by WIT Studio is probably one of the best that I have ever seen.
Fast paced but didn't lose grip over the story.
Characters were superb, and each of them left an impression.
Action/Music/Animation/Emotions were equally balanced which made it intriguing till the end.
BAD There isn't any bad point in my opinion.
My Rating : 10/10.

A story does not have to be long to be good. This is a perfect example, 13 episodes no more no less to wrap this from start to finish and make an emotional story with good animation, songs, characters and story. Highly recommending, can also add that Tappei has written several other stories like Re:ZERO.
PS Found out that the VA for Vivy (dub) is same as Velvet from Berseria. Christina Vee really is the queen of anime/JRPG.
