I have watched so many shows, breaking bad, GoT, so many shows and anime I watched, this anime is just in another level the story the tension, truely a masterpiece that I don't think we will ever see some thing like that ever again. My son and I watched this jumping and screeming throughout this episode.

This serie has the highest rating for single episodes ever. Over 40 episodes have been rated more than 9, this is absolutely crazy. I still can't understand how in general it's rated 8.9! I hope it reaches at least 9.5 soon.

It's a masterpiece, I think we won't ever see again on a screen such a perfection. As someone below said, I hope that the next generations may enjoy and remember it forever. What a time to be alive!

This episode was everything I've ever hoped for. This is just... It can't be described. Armins scene was one of the best of the show. Perfect cgi. Perfect episode. Where are you now MAPPA haters because this is a masterpiece.

Let's get real here. Is this bad CGI? No way, it's some of the best CGI that has been used in an anime. Is it sometimes noticeable to the point where you can make a comment about it being distracting? Yes, of course!

But here is a really important thing to consider. The guys over at MAPPA only got 8 months to animate the first 16 episodes and already the animators got personal threats on Twitter and other places. This is undeserving of their gargantuan work of delivering on such an amazing series that AoT has been, AND STILL IS.

You can have criticisms of the CGI, but be respectful and understanding of the work that the people involved has made to make this season happen.

And for my part, I can't say anything else that MAPPA has delivered more for each episode, this has been one of the best Manga adaptations I've seen. Every attention to detail that they put in the scenes is fantastic. For example, in the cart the cart titan squad has a group photo hanging on the wall. That's some good stuff right there. If only they get some more polishing done on the environments MAPPA will definitely be on par with WIT.

This episode was just too damn good. Enjoyed every bit of what was offered. So many excellent scenes in this episode

With no doubts AoT can do !!! Not able to blink , firmly watching in tension couldn't even know where to focus ! Is it OST? Fight scenes? Eren? Survey Corps?the fear expressions? The massacre? Chaos? That was INSANELY a masterpiece!!!

It is just a World War III !

This episode was just crazy. I think this decrowned "Hero" as this might be the greatest episode of attack on titan I've ever seen. It was beyond good.

It's deserve 10/10 Don't ask why!! We are the manga readers we know it's deserves 11/10

WIT was good too, but this is whole another level. I wish they had more time (like extra 4 or 6 months) so we could see this 10/10 episode in 11/10 form. Best episode of Shingeki no Kyojin so far. Also, what is the deal with people in review page? Don't they know live stream exist?

This was such an amazing episode but for me it was not 10/10 and not even close to hero and perfect game solid 8/10

I've seen a lot of comments on IMDB about specifically this episode alongside "Hero" and "Perfect Game" to be the best episodes in all of Attack On Titan.

If you're a fan of animation, fast-paced action and seeing about all of your favourite characters back on the screen fighting it out, this is absolute eye candy for you! The Warhammer Titan, Beast Titan, Cart Titan and Jaw Titan along with Eren's Attack Titan are all there and make for a visual spectacle like you've last had it at the end of season 3.

For me, personally, these types of episodes are a chore to watch...Nothing plot-defining really happens and I feel, as I have throughout the entirety of AoT, not necessarily attached to any of the main characters and this don't care much for their fate.

For me the show is too fast paced in many parts and does not give enough care to establishing the emotional relationship between characters. As a result, these slash-fests are an absolute bore to watch for me and I would never even consider putting this type of episode even close to the same level as Breaking Bad's "Ozymandias".

But if you got that emotional attachment to the characters, you feel the thrill of an, I cannot stretch this enough, absolutely beautifully animated fight scene and love seeing high-stake fights, this is for you!

GoT and Breaking bad fans are going to give this ep 1 again. It's ok but please grow up!

Yet another episode adapted perfectly from the manga. Attack on Titan Season 4 hasn't even come close to hitting its climax yet it keeps surpassing itself over and over. This episode was insane and had me on the edge of my seat for 20 minutes despite me knowing what happens.

They represented so nice the agony and impotence of every character but the voice actor of gabi was the star of the episode.

This has to be the best episode so far and we're just halfway in. The execution of everything (lines, animation, voice, story) were all well done. I've never seen any anime or series gave me the same feels that I got in this episode. Definitely deserves 10/10. If it goes down, I just know that GoT and Breaking Bad fans are the one to be blamed lmao.

Well done, Mappa animators/crew. Well done, Isayama.

Unbelievable episode that you can't close your eyes for one second, every episode just better than the last one this reall amazing 😍😍

I am writing this review on the episodes on BB's Ozymandias and AOT's Hero and Assault. I am doing this because these 3 episodes are all masterpieces deserving 10/10, but all these episodes have 1/10 ratings and the majority of these are AOT fans and BB fans rating the other show a 1/10 so that their episode can be rated the best episode of all time. I have seen both shows so I can tell you which show deserves number 1. That show is who cares about it. Honestly can we not accept that there can be more than one 10/10 episode. I am sure we can all agree the episodes deserve nothing less than a 9/10 so can we stop this war of 1/10 bombings. AOT fans, watch BB you will love it. BB fans, watch AOT you will love it.

I had that feeling like Joey from friends when he put the book on the Freezer while reaching unbearable point of the book he was reading.

Mappa does justice the Manga with a great all round chapter.
