Leni's dad is a robot. He twitches when he walks, never smiles and he got a remote control to be navigated, just like a toy car. For Leni, all of that is part of her normal life; for her classmates, however, it is extremely strange.
"Mein Robodad" refers to dealing with people who suffer from Parkinson's disease - from the perspective and view of children. Symptoms like strange and jerky movements, a hard-faced expression and a remote control which sends signals to the patient's brain makes Parkinson's disease something mysterious for children and adults.—Anonymous
