Fans and the entire South fraternity have been grappling with the ugly controversy between Lady Superstar Nayanthara and Dhanush. It all started after Nayanthara wrote a lengthy open letter to the actor after the latter slammed her with a lawsuit of 10 crore for using the BTS footage of their movie Naanum Rowdy Dhaan in her Netflix documentary, Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairytale. She hurled some accusations at Dhanush, which revealed that the duo’s equation has been bitter ever since their last outing, Naanum Rowdy Dhaan (2015). Nayanthara openly accused Dhanush of having an alleged personal vendetta against her and her now-husband, Vignesh Shivan.

After acting in a handful of Malayalam films, Nayanthara found her big break in Tamil cinema with her role in Chandramukhi (2005), starring superstar Rajinikanth.

Hyderabad, Feb 3 (Ians) Legendary Telugu filmmaker K. Vishwanath, who also acted in some Tamil films, has passed away. He was 92.

Vishanath breathed his last at Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad late Thursday. He is survived by two sons and a daughter.

The Dadasaheb Phalke awardee and five-time national award winner was suffering from age-related ailments. He will be cremated on Friday.

Born on February 19, 1930 in Andhra Pradesh’s Guntur district, he directed over 50 films.

Vishwanath was popular for iconic films such as Sankarabharanam, Sagara Sangamam, Swathi Muthyam and Swarna Kamalam. He also acted in Tamil movies like Yaaradi Nee Mohini, Rajapattai, Lingaa and Uttama Villain and shared screen space with the likes of Kamal Haasan, R. Parthiban and Ajith.

An official confirmation is awaited from the makers’ end and if announced, it’d also mean that the highly anticipated reunion between Dhanush and Anirudh Ravichander, who had composed music for the first part, may not happen.
