Clathrus Ruber is a red colored mushroom described for the first time by Fabio Colonna in 1592. It reproduces on soils rich of organic substances and secretes a blackish gelatinous substance that smells of a dead corpse. This mushroom is commonly known as Witch's Heart (Cuore di strega).
