Yes, seasons 1-5 are available to own on DVD and Blu-ray while season 6 is only available for pre-order.

The Complete First Season was released in both DVD & Blu-ray formats on August 31st, 2010.

The Complete Second Season was released in both DVD & Blu-ray formats on August 30th, 2011.

The Complete Third Season was released in both DVD & Blu-ray formats on September 11th, 2012.

The Complete Fourth Season was released in both DVD & Blu-ray formats on September 3rd, 2013.

The Complete Fifth Season was released in both DVD & Blu-ray formats on September 9th, 2014.

The Complete Sixth Season will be released in both DVD and Blu-ray formats on September 1st, 2015.

Seasons 1-6 can be digitally downloaded from iTunes and Amazon.

Using the Music list at the bottom of each episode screen on IMDB, combined with Utube, (which has them all), I downloaded over 900 songs related to or featured in The Vampire Diaries! The show creators did the most amazing thing: They offered a slot to any musician in the world to join this genre. NOBODY GOT CUT. As a result, dozens of musicians got airtime and joined the vampire genre. That offer is just unheard-of! Hats off to the show's creators! After a year I began cutting my list down, ending up with 300 good songs, and of the 300 I have 30 of the all-time greatest hits. This project took a solid year. WELL WORTH EVERY MINUTE OF IT!
