Maybe you are already familiar with the love triangle story. However, this film is different from films with a love triangle theme in general. When another love triangle story is about fighting over a partner, they try to pay attention to each other in order to get the lover's heart. In fact, this film offers something different.
This film proves that loyalty is a hard thing to do. The love triangle relationship here is also not exaggerated. Dika came as a healer for Gisele's wounds, and when Gisele managed to conquer her trauma, she finally realized and tried to stay away from Dika because she didn't want to ruin their relationship. This film is not the type of actor-themed film that makes the blood rise.
This film is also a little satire about people who still work in companies that don't give room for ideas from their employees. Employees must comply with all the wishes of the company and make them as corporate slaves. Dika, who used to work there, because she got motivation from Gisele and her anxiety about the company's behavior that was detrimental to small farmers, finally decided to leave the company.
The events of 98 are also raised slightly in this film. How a Gisele traumatized leaving the house because of her boyfriend who died in the 98 riots. She never left the house since that day until Dika finally healed her trauma.
The sound of the piano chiming is enough to dominate this film. In every scene, especially sad scenes, added with piano sound that has a tone according to the nuances of the film. When you are sad, the sound of the piano adds to the melancholy of this film. However, the sound of this piano is too over so that it makes the feel less natural.
As a romance drama, "Rain Behind the Window" is supported quite well by the performance of its cast line. Bio One, who plays Dika, is capable enough to bring his character to life, how he expresses the longing and regret on his face, is successful enough to attract the attention of the audience.
Yasamine Jasem who plays Alda, and Clara Bernadeth who plays Alda, all three are able to display a fairly responsible performance, even though the background of the characterization is only shown briefly through a series of dialogues.
But instead of feeling shallow, Bio One, Yasamine, and Clara still provide enough energy for their respective character ranks. Besides that, fortunately the directing of "Rain Behind the Window" was quite good and capable in translating the script into a dynamic visual presentation that flows comfortably to watch.
In this film, we can see that love is never predictable. When we are in a relationship with a partner, we can fall in love with other people at the same time. The most important thing is to take care of the heart. Honesty with your partner is an important thing to note.
The rain behind the window shows that rain can not only wash away dust on the road, but also can erase wounds and memories. This describes Gisele who is injured and has bad memories, until Dika comes as rain that heals her wounds. However, the rain can stop at any time and it can't rain forever.
That's my review of the film "Rain Behind the Window". Are you interested in watching it?
Overall, this film is very worth watching, especially for you fans of romance dramas. Romance here is not shown excessively. The sad atmosphere and the tinkling sound of the piano add to the melancholy in this film. The ranks of the players are also able to liven up the atmosphere in this film.
The author himself really likes Yasamine Jasem's acting, and the author hopes that he can become a new face for the Indonesian film industry. So that the audience is not always bored because of the same movie players.
For you fans of romance dramas, for those of you who want to learn to be loyal, you must watch this film!
