I bailed on this one. I made it through the credits, the opening scenes, the trip to Hungary (it was Hungary, right?), but by the time the hero was listening to the psycho-killer-chick-vampire-lady-thing and the flashbacks started, I realized: This is just an elaborate setup for really uninspired torture porn. I fast-forwarded, faster-forwarded, then began bypassing entire scenes, until I was close to the end and I realized I didn&#39;t care what happened to the story. It begins okay, it seems to have some thought during the first ten minutes, but what happened? What a shameful movie. Could this film have been salvaged? Maybe they could have made it something other than two guys in folding chairs talking to a goth chick with delusions of grandeur?

Erza: Fear of a Faceless God

It starts off creepy then turns into a sadistic venture of serial killers doing their dirty deeds and torturing people in sick little ways like pulling their toe nails off and ripping their cuticles with tweezers. Ugh! Nauseating but cant&#39;t deny it&#39;s a new take on the torture genre. How many limbs can you cut off or how many people can you stab before it gets old. This movie takes it to a slower painful process. Speaking of losing limbs, One victim wakes up with no member between his legs! The film has a very murky grimy feel the entire time. It really dives into the mindset of serial killer mentality from killers&#39; delusional glorification of themselves. Though it finishes with a lot of untied ends and leaves you wishing for more. Over all, if grind house horror with stylistic approach, plus some spine tingling torture scenes is your thing, then you&#39;ll enjoy this film. The soundtrack is heavy on rock music which some might enjoy and some not. It felt really disturbing, but abstract and different. I would definitely recommend this film to the gore mongering acquired taste.
