Action thriller. You'd be mind blown with the suspense and twists. Don't miss this. You can watch with family and even kids can watch.

This is a very organic film that showcases the potential of rising writer/director Pavan Kumar Rajamahendravarapu ("Raj").
A semi-finalist in the 2021 Chhatrapati Shivaji International Film Festival, CSIFF, THE PURPLE NIGHT (2021) is an independent action thriller written by ""Raj." The film tells the story the struggles that ensue when a deadly strain of hallucinogenic "magic mushrooms" overtake a family man's life.
Set in the San Francisco Bay Area, with strong overtones and inferences pointing back to Raj's native nation of India, THE PURPLE NIGHT (2021) is almost entirely in Hindi with English subtitles.
Shot on a razor-thing shoestring budget of only $10,000, the filmmaker does an acceptable job of utilizing and combining resources to maximize forward storyline momentum. Moving past minor independent filmmaking obstacles (like stiff/forced ancillary support acting), THE PURPLE NIGHT does tell a good story.
For his first effort as a (shorter) feature length film (59 minutes), Pavan Kumar Raj leaves audiences curious as to his next filmmaking adventure.
