Good photography and acting maintain interest as plot elements fall into place-nice twist at the end. Londoners will enjoy identifying the locations.
Because the central character is a cabbie the story has forward momentum even when his backstory is being unfolded. I liked how ordinary taxi users are seen in the back seat as well as characters in the story.
Some thriller fans might prefer more real-world action and less psychological angst. The main character is no action hero but is convincingly real, with enough resilience and determination for people to care about how things turn out for him.
