Ticks all the boxes for a good investigation thriller . Once again Sailesh Kolanu delivered a gripping investigation after HIT 1 . Connection between HIT 1 and 2 gave more excitement while watching . Usual serial killer investigation story and follows the same template , but screenplay did the magic . First half took it's own time to build the story , started with romance track and some usual commercial stuff , right after getting into the case it gets our complete attention . Second half was complete engaging , but Climax was bit stretched . Drawback , had some logical issues . Adivi Sesh did a good job . Max ( Dog ) was the show stealer . Overall a not a great one , but falls under the category of GOOD sequel . Waiting for Arjun Sarkar's ( Nani ) show in HIT : The 3rd Case .

Actually when I saw the movie it was great content by all means, recently I read a book my disappointment on director he copied everything from a book of crucifix killer by chris carter which is converted to Telugu nativity and screenplay is straight from the book, if they bought the rights from the author it's very good but I don't think they bought rights because the original author had to benifit from his creative work
If anybody has doubts just read the book.
Climax is changed from what it is in book the serial killer motive is different everything else is same as book, it is pity of the director work don't do this , original creator should have what they deserve.

Just watched Hit-2 the second case!! Literally one if the Bloodiest movie in telugu, I went to threater with low expectations because of now a days telugu cinema is producing more flop movies than content based films,, but this HIT-2 went beyond my expectations, every frame is very important to this movie (very fast screen play) coming to performances Adivi sesh rocked in K. D role and rest of the cast did well and justified in their roles, music could have been better, DOP work is quite thrilling, coming to writer director sailesh he succeed in giving a sequel can't wait for this HIT-Verse. Post credit scene is too good, waiting for HIT-3 .At last No spoilers No Piracy!!!

HIT: The 2nd Case (2022) :
Movie Review -
Sailesh Kolanu & Adivi Sesh's Team-Up Builds A Thrilling Follow-Up Out of A Boneless Script.
Sailesh Kolanu's "HIT: The First Case" came from nowhere to surprise audiences (including me). The extended compilation of CID episodes gathered a worthy watch for thriller lovers, and it also showed how good a writer Sailesh is. HIT: The Second Case may look like an amateur story, as you have certain expectations from a sequel-a burden that doesn't come with fresh films-but the storytelling, compelling segments, and fine performances by the cast lead you to a nice follow-up to the First Case.
HIT: The Second Case introduces you to a HIT (Homicide Investigation Team) officer Krishna Dev, aka KD (Adivi Sesh), who has a knack for catching criminals in no time. He is super sharp and fast at solving murder cases and is enjoying his live-in relationship with his girlfriend, Arya (Meenakshi Chaudhary). One particularly brutal case leaves him shattered, and the investigation goes wrong despite his and his team's brainstorming as they are on a hunt to catch a serial killer. Will KD manage to cover up the mistakes of the police department and get a hold of the serial killer, whom he once underestimated? Catch HIT 2 in cinemas near you to learn more.
HIT 2 is not a smart script like HIT: The First Case. The film opens with a flashback scene, and then you know it's gonna be used later in the film, which kills a major chunk of thrills for you. The script allows the killer to look safe till the end, and then multiple cliches in the climax portion force you to scratch your head over "the hero's mandatory victory." HIT 1 had a lot of twists on the killer's identity and kept us guessing till the end. Here, you don't feel like knowing the killer because there are no substitutes for it, even in a deceptive way. Usually, we have to wait for the killer to commit another murder so that the cops can link it and find more clues, whereas in HIT 2, the killer is somewhat like, already done with his job. However, the amateur thriller gets interesting in the second half, as the protagonist seems helpless and the killer starts looking better than him. He also ends up being right from his perspective. Thank God, there was no drunken protagonist or any personal trauma from his past. A sophisticated character always looks better than traumatic ones.
Adivi Sesh and the thriller genre seem to be enjoying an intimate relationship from the last 5-6 years. With "Kshanam" (2016), "Goodachari" (2018), "Evaru" (2019), and "Major" (2022), he has had a fantastic record in the thriller genre, and HIT: The Second Case keeps the chain intact. Touchwood! May he keep doing the same throughout his career, and we will never get bored seeing him in such intense roles. Except for the romantic parts with Meenakshi, there was nothing wrong with him. There was less scope for other characters, including the villain, but they have done quite well. Rao Ramesh, Suhas, Komalee Prasad, Posani Krishna Murali, Maganthi Srinath, Harsha Vardhan, Srikant Iyenger, and Tanikella Bharani look fine in whatever scenes they have.
HIT 2 would have been called a senseless sequel if it wasn't handled smartly by Shailesh Kolanu's direction. Like I said, he is a fantastic writer, so he knows how to sow the scenes. Being a writer helps him to analyse and visualise the scenes better. Here in HIT 2, he tries the old trick of deception, which somewhat works, but the ultimate destiny of the film lands safely because of basic vision. Watch out for the climax scene when KD takes a sarcastic yet logically profound laugh at the killer. Very few thrillers manage to play such mind games out of the blue. HIT: The Second Case is saved there, despite many loopholes in the screenplay. Sailesh could have removed music, romance, and media stuff to keep it more clean and vivid. Nothing is majorly wrong here, so yes, it can be recommended for thriller lovers and fans of HIT: The First Case. Now, get ready for the third case with Nani.

A sequel to the 2020 psychological thriller starring Vishwak Sen (HIT The 1st Case), this one has a new protagonist --Adivi Sesh.
Story : A young woman's body is found brutally dismembered. However on closer examination by forensics, it is found that body parts of 4 girls have been placed together to make it seem that it is the body of a single woman. The HIT ( Homicide Intervention Team) headed by Adivi Sesh now have a tough job on their hand to apprehend the serial killer & find answers as to why he's perpetrating the heinous crimes.
Adivi Shesh as SP Krishna Dev (KD) looks dashing & suave and seamlessly gets into the skin of the protagonist to deliver a stupendous performance. It's his film all the way and he doesn't disappoint. Others in the cast like Meenakshi Choudhary, Komalee Prasad and others have given decent performances.
The narrative is fast paced, tight & gripping with slick editing. Action scenes have been choreographed and climax is awesome. This film has all the ingredients of a great psychological thriller!!
The ending has a special cameo by " Natural Star Nani" who is expected to take over the 3rd film of this franchise. Nani's screen presence & swag in the 2 minute scene is just brilliant and sets the tone for a much awaited sequel.
Highly recommended!! Both films in this franchise are brilliant. You can watch it on Prime Video once it releases on OTT. Watch it in theatres if you can!!
I'll go with 4/5 for this one .. adios🙂!!

In a crime story you want a perfect crime story to engage the audience, and the sailesh has done his job perfectly,
I have watched hit 1st case in hindi version , so it was very good , and has I got know the director sailesh he as directed the original version I was amazed now most of them are making pan india movie , but he has given equal importance to hindi auidence, and I was expecting something exciting from these movie , and it is delivered .
After major , this is my second movie of adivi , he has acted as good story needed ,
And all other actors are good , no negatives for me , and a must watch for me.

2nd part has unnecessary emotional scenes, lacked the maturity of the 1st one, writing wasn't gripping. Please improve but as a standalone story its a 1 time watch. Be authentic atleast in crime stories. Stop sending an SP of a district to a bloody investigation alone where he's definitely sure he'll be confronted by antagonists. Come on change the writing we are bored of these silly things. Anyway 1st one was way better. Tollywood has very few good stories without unnecessary scenes inserted for sake of emotion.
.. .. The music was composed by Vivek Sagar with cinematography by Niketh Bommireddy and editing by Ravi Teja Girijala. The film released on 29 June 2018. It received positive reviews for its humour, performances, writing and dialogues.

#Hit2Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
HIT2 is an unpredictable bloodcurdling film which shows the dark corporeality of our living world. The Film has something that evolves a psychological interconnectedness between pain and merciless.
Love relationship between Arya and KD shares a beautiful consciousness of responsibility, ripeness and altruism. Also there's a satisfaction of having supportive parents beyond social taboos.
MAX 🐶 is a crucial part who completes KD. He was the bestest among all. We witnessed his true affection and intelligence on screen.
Adivi Sesh's terrific performance as A Chill Chai Addict Cop to The Fierce Cop KD is breathtakingly fascinated.
Also The Entire Cast is brilliant.
BGM, Cinematography everything is perfectly made.
Special Note: Arjun Sarkar's heroic entry makes audiences wowed. The whole theatre screams in joy.

Movie is good
Everything is good in movie
I did not like villan's acting that much, like it is not good compared to his old movies...
Adavi Shes is very good for that roll in the movie, his acting is very good. In Last 15 minutes His acting was Super..
They gave a little spark of HIT: The First Case, But you don't need to watch that to understand this movie, but I will recommend to watch HIT: The First Case before HIT: The Second Case, they showed the Hero of HIT: The Third Case in the ending, i can't spoil more....
Other Characters are Ok Ok, Heroine is ok.
Good story, Music and background score are avarage
(My opinion)

A standard thriller with a few moments of palpable tension and suspense; while it is not the best addition to the franchise to date, it is still a competent one. In all honesty, I was more intrigued by Nani's introduction in the climactic scene and the fact that he will play the lead in the next instalment than by the movie itself.
With all due respect to Adivi Sesh and Sailesh Kolanu, I believe that this was not up to the mark; suffice it to say that it did not meet my expectations. Let's just hope the best is yet to come, and with Nani starring in the next film in the series, I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I don't know if it's the standard set by the first part or the second part's trailer, I came out of the theatre with a little bit of disappointment.
But is it bad? Definitely NO.
The movie is far better than any average Indian movie.
The beauty of hit 1 is its originality - no usual templates or whatsoever.
Whereas in Hit 2, makers tried to take the template "serial killer vs i know all cop" route.
I'm afraid after watching the glimpse of hit 3 in the climax of hit 2 because it seemed like any commercial Telugu cop's role.
It would be great if Sailesh don't fall for these template traps while working with these big heroes.
A true/ original film like Hit 1 is all we need from him.

Hero characterization : Hero characterization has unnecessary elements which are far off from the reality. In general the police in real life are not near to this hero. Director showed hero in little less serious and lover angle in some scenes. HIT part 1 visvakshen attitude and seriousness is missing in this movie. Shesh did a great job in major but this movie needs more serious face looks etc.
Music : where is that background music ? Movie should be alot better it has a suspense background theme music similar to Ratsasan movie background music. It would make this movie more serious and interesting.
Editing: Too mant mistakes with scene timelines, example: when suhas cut heroine hand blood fall on the floor, next scene there is no blood on the floor. Another director mistake, hero drive the vehicle but he sits in passenger seat in two scenes.
All the best to nani for HIT 3 hope they consider it making more serious and better.

RECOMMENDED
The good part is that they make sure the audience followed the investigation revelation from the beginning to end. Even though they revealed the motive of the killing, they maintained the investigation angle till the end.
The cast and acting was good, they connected to first part with small touch, and it is not mandatory to watch first part to understand this.
The only problem with this serial killer movie is the tension is not passed to audience. If they maintained the sentiment angle it would be reached to next level.
Worth the watch.

Movie starts well but ending revealing serial killer was expected one and not surprised.
Main villain as an actor got good recognition in last 2-3 years. He was shown less than 10minutes screen time till climax portions so obviously movie lover and follower knows more to come from him in the movie.
Next thing, it was not convincing that killer give newspaper ad same day for both his father obituary and his business ad. Any smart killer will not do that.
Acting wise all did great job, movie keeps interesting till full first half and sometime for second half. Definitely one time watch if you like crime/thriller zone.

I'd like to know if there's going to be a female leading character who will solve a case in the next hit case films in order for her to appear in the future hit case films. And it'll be just for the ladies if they can contribute to case-solving as well.
Instead of continuing the hit-case movie saga with the male main character, I would still like to hear the audience's and director's thoughts on the female protagonist.
After seeing the movie, I got chills since it's that good. I can't wait to see the new hit-third case movie starring well-known actor NANI. Because the final portion of the scenario shows us the second example, and he appears well in that movie.

The film is a very good on an overall view. Director and writer sailesh kolanu has given his best in the film. The film is very engaging and doesn't get bored anywhere. Adavi sesh performance is good. Meenakshi Chowdary, suhas, Rao Ramesh has done their roles very well. The screenplay is also very interesting. It was a decent crime thriller and worthy watch film if you crime thriller movie lover or a Noor zonor lovers. In the end there is a lead for the next part. The music is good and engaging. The background themes too worked out well. This is the second film in the hitverse. Waiting eagerly for the upcoming movies.

Not an extraordinary investigating officer, but a really solid one.
The good; director Sailesh Kolanu is a craftsman at building up suspense.
While the pacing can make the film feel like a bit of a chore, there's nothing here that won't keep you compelled as the mystery is extremely investing and the shocking finale is one no one will see coming even if they think they know it before hand.
Incredible acting and dialogue - it was refreshing to see the characters of Adivi and Meenakshi present such raw emotion on screen.
Any bad? This movie starts out slow, but the tension and suspense build up until the very end. So have some patience and you will be rewarded by a solidly made investigating officer.

Highly Predicable but still watchable flick. Usual pattern. First case to show the brilliance of the officer (that too movie buff will easily catch the trick on that)
Then the actual case. Moment the guy was shown on the movie - a movie buff will easily guess him as serial killer guy. And Usual cliché of catching an innocent guy and his weird logic to die.
Initial story of that poor fellow was actually emotional and justified. But killing all in that org is pretty awkward. Director brilliantly placed a dialogue to counter that. Background score was good.
Still it is watchable flick with good direction.

This movie is the 2nd part of the movie "HIT the first case."The first part is available both in Telegu and hindi version. Both has the same story. So you all go for any of it. They are equally beautiful to watch. The 2nd part is available on Prime vdo in Telegu. The bollywood version is yet to get release. The movie "HIT the second case"is a suspense thriller and the suspense and thrill is maintained till the end. The climax and it's presentation is very well executed on the screen. You can feel the fear and brutality on the screen. The way suspence is maintained and how each and every case is related is intelligently presented on screen. Its a must watch movie. Loved it till the end.
Sailesh kolanu delivers an engrossing cop drama that excels technically and sets the stage for the 3rd hit universe....
Initial 15mins or so could have been trimmed & after that minor flaws the screenplay elevates to a investigative mode with plenty of twists and turns until the maniacal act towards the climax...
Keeping the screenplay in tact sailesh does create a clever cop who doesn't endorse heroic acts and this appreciative idea is where Adavi sesh fits into the role who unravels the case with sarcastic touch with seniors and trust with his teammates,a handy product post "MAJOR"....
MAX does a commendable job
Especially the antagonist innocent act leaves u strangled with this hallmark crackiling thriller as a complete product.

The first part of the franchise is a good one and I would rate the first part 8/10 but the second one is lacking in many aspects.
Let's talk about where it is lacking
1. I really think Adivi Sesh's is one of the best actor among tollywood heroes but in this movie his acting is average and felt kind of forced.
2. Plot is a big minus as it is easy to predict.
3. The first part dealt with many aspects like PTSD, good plot, excellent detective work and the relationship issues but the 2nd part tried too hard to make it bigger than Hit 1 but fell far behind.
4. The publicity might've helped in collections but the future of the series is under alot of pressure, HIT 2 is not an investigative thriller nor a police procedural, all I can say is it's just an average story.
5. People who are only familiar with tollywood movies might like this one but if you're well versed with other industry movies and also watch Hollywood detective movies and shows then you'll feel like you're ripped off after watching it in theatre with your hard earned money.

Just as the Hit-The first case was, This one too is brilliantly written, directed & acted! Adivi sesh is phenominal as KD! Story is very crisp & thrilling! It won't let you move from your seat fro sure!
Though Twist & suspence is not that much still you'll not even move from your seat through out the movie! This is because of the crisp story telling and brilliant screenplay. I bet you'll get the Ratsasan feeling while watching this masterpiece. Length is also very apt so there is not any unnecessary scenes or drama! Investigation procedure is thoroughly explained as was in Hit-the first case!
Finally, Last scene🔥🔥🔥 It was just fire! Can't wait to watch Hit-The third case!
Hail Mr. Shailesh Kolanu for creating Hitverse🙏🙏

Awesome crime suspense movie and I think most of us can't guess the serial killer till the end which is the best part. Though it started with a small back story which tensed me in the beginning itself, it immediately switched to lead character's development with light comedy and love. When finally the main crime case came, it literally blew away my mind. The point where I actually involved myself emotionally and connected to the plot was when KD tries to save the wrong killer but the killer eventually dies. From then on everything shooted uphill. I can't tell how many times my heart rate hiked😅.... especially in the climax where I was scared to death maybe because I don't usually see such crime movies. Honestly, it was a great watch in long time... definitely a must watch.
