Comcast-owned Sky’s Sky Documentaries and its streaming service Now will give viewers a front-row seat for an exploration of recent history and topics that have shaped it, along with big names that played key roles in it — all through the eyes of legendary journalist and interviewer David Frost. That is the promise of new documentary series David Frost vs, which will start airing in the U.K. on Sunday, Feb. 23, with MSNBC set to air it starting on Sunday, April 27.
“Pulling from an archive of over 10,000 interviews recorded over more than 50 years, David Frost vs centers on era-defining David Frost interviews, unveiling a fresh perspective on today through the battles of yesterday,” according to a synopsis. Despite Sydney Sweeney being fan-cast as Black Cat in the MCU, I think she's a far better match for one iconic femme fatale in Marvel Studios' upcoming X-Men reboot. Sydney Sweeney, best known for her roles in Euphoria, The Handmaid's Tale and Anyone But You, has been a popular MCU fan-cast for quite some time. Sweeney's Marvel debut in the laughable Madame Web only made theories of her recasting even more prevalent, but while I'd love her to join the MCU, I have a different opinion on which Marvel Comics character she should play.
The most popular fan-cast theory suggests that Sydney Sweeney would be perfect for Felicia Hardy's Black Cat in the upcoming Spider-Man 4. I wouldn't be mad about this choice, as I think Sweeney and Tom Holland would have fantastic chemistry on-screen, and it would be great to see a love-interest other than Mj in the MCU.

MacFadyen shines in romantic period dramas, carving a niche in sensitive male roles from youth. His portrayal as Tom in Succession elevated his U.S. presence and may define his legacy. MacFadyen's performances in Frost/Nixon, Wuthering Heights, and Little Dorrit showcase his diverse talent.
The British actor Matthew MacFadyen has made a name for himself in television shows and movies alike, but only certain performances are highlighted as his best. Similarly to many other actors from the U.K., MacFadyen has a background in theater, which has greatly influenced the way he performs his on-screen characters. Many of MacFadyen's early roles include stints in period romance films and TV shows based on classic works of literature, which stand out as examples of his typecast in his youth.
However, it's clear after the prevalence of Succession and the many accolades he received for his performance, MacFadyen has many more years of excellent work ahead of him.

A Court of Frost and Starlight is a shorter, lighter installment in the Acotar series, serving as a bridge to the spinoff novels. The novella offers closure for Feyre and Rhysand, but is not a direct sequel or part of the original trilogy. Acofas leads into A Court of Silver Flames, which sets the stage for the rest of the Acotar spinoffs.
Sarah J. Maas' books are typically lengthy, but A Court of Frost and Starlight is the shortest installment in her Acotar series — and there's a good explanation for that. A Court of Frost and Starlight made its debut in 2018, following the first three Acotar books. The reception to Acofas was lukewarm compared to Maas' previous installments, with the book receiving a 3.77 rating on Goodreads, the lowest of any installment in Maas' fantasy series. However, Acofas shouldn't be compared to the other Court of Thorns & Roses novels; there's a reason it tells a quicker,...

Political thrillers based on true events add to the shared cultural memory of significant political moments. The best political thrillers balance entertainment with a deeper message or moral stance on real events. While dramatizing for cinematic effect, these movies draw audiences into the complexities of historical narratives.
Political thrillers are always unbelievable, but the best movies base their plots on true stories, making them all the more shocking. Often involving corruption, intrigue, and violence, there's no shortage of real events for these films to draw inspiration from. Taking on stories of such magnitude is difficult for both filmmakers and actors because they represent real people and the events of their lives. It's a responsibility and a privilege that is respected in the most successful movies of the genre.

Warning: Spoilers for Monarch: Legacy of Monsters episode 7
The death of the ice monster in Monarch: Legacy of Monsters episode 7 fixes a potential plot hole in the Monsterverse canon. The Frost Vark, while not a threat to Godzilla, posed a challenge for the characters in the show due to its heat-absorption powers. The fate of the Ion Dragon in the show may be similar to the Frost Vark, suggesting it may have met its end before 2019. However, there is a possibility for the Monsterverse to retcon its existence as a missing Titan.
The death of the ice monster in Monarch: Legacy of Monsters episode 7 helped the Monsterverse avert what would have been a major plot hole. Debuting in the third episode of the Apple TV+ series, the creature is one of at least two original Monsterverse Titans to get a role in the story. The introduction of the monster, referred...

Despite Odin's death, Loki's appearance as an Asgardian remained unchanged, sparking theories about the cause. One theory suggests that Odin's powerful magic kept Loki in his Asgardian form even after Odin died. The idea that a spell can persist after its caster dies is supported by examples in the MCU, like Dr. Strange's spell protecting the Eye of Agamotto.
Although Odin died in Thor: Ragnarok, Loki did not revert to his Frost Giant form with blue skin, leading fans to theorize about what caused his appearance to remain Asgardian even after his original link to Asgard was gone in the MCU. In a flashback in Thor, Odin explained that he found Loki as a baby in Jotunheim. Loki had been abandoned by his father, Laufey, the King of the Frost Giants and one of Odin’s greatest enemies. Although Loki was unusually small, he still initially had...

Warning: Contains spoilers for X-Men #20 The conclusion to X-Men #20 revealed a dangerous twist for the mutants of Krakoa, with Kingpin and Typhoid Mary, villains of both the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Marvel Comics, seeking amnesty on the X-Men's Krakoa after the recent events of Devil's Reign.
Wilson Fisk and Mary Walker are both classic villains, traditionally appearing as foes of the New York City-based hero Daredevil. The Kingpin has appeared as a major villain in the McU's Daredevil and Hawkeye series, and Typhoid Mary was presented as complicated but deadly villain in the Iron Fist show.

This article contains Twin Peaks spoilers
If you’re like me and caught up with Twin Peaks well after its original run on ABC in 1990-1991, you probably got the same advice I heard. “Season one is great and season two sucks. But you need to stick through the second season to get to the finale which is the best episode of the entire show.” Leaving aside the fact that they probably mean “everything after the Laura Palmer murder is solved” sucks, since we got some great episodes in the second season, that advice offers a pretty limited understanding of what the original series had to offer.
Yes, Twin Peaks is most famous for its surreal imagery. Agent Cooper’s visit to the Red Room, Bob crawling over the sofa toward the camera, the Giant’s despairing observation that “It is happening again.” All of these are indelible parts of the series.

FromSoftware RPGs like Elden Ring are infamous for having peril-filled environments, to explore, punishingly difficult bosses to overcome, and no option to reduce the game's difficulty. In practice, however, players who investigate the mechanics of FromSoftware RPGs will often stumble across clever ways to construct powerful character builds that make PvE and PvP encounters a lot less stressful. By this point, most veteran Elden Ring players are familiar with powerful weapons like the Moonveil or Rivers of Blood katanas or know how to increase the damage dealt by Frost or Bloodloss status effects. The builds described in this article, however, are more obscure but just as potent.
The meta of PvP and PvE builds in Elden Ring - that is to say, the most powerful and easy-to-use weapons, spells, and talismans - changes periodically as FromSoftware updates the game with new patches. A few Elden Ring character-building principles have stayed constant through all of this.

"We've got a storm coming in!" Don't forget your jacket!! Cleopatra Entertainment has revealed an official trailer for an indie B-movie survival thriller titled Frost, from low budget genre filmmaker Brandon Slagle. It will be debuting direct-to-vod to watch this October. A young woman and her estranged father fight to survive after being stranded on a remote mountainside during an intense winter storm. A car crash leaves her stranded in a freezing cold car without any help coming soon. Starring Vernon Wells and Devanny Pinn. Also co-starring a wolf named "Shadow" as the wolf in the movie. Not surprisingly at all, this looks awful. The trailer also absurdly reveals one of the big twists, which makes it even more ridiculous. Have fun. ›››
