With Hollywood rapidly running out of ideas, they've now turned to toys, and the twisted(going by this one project... I haven't seen anything else of theirs) people of Secret Sauce TV decided to make this spoof trailer in response to that. It's a hilarious, spot-on parody, with jokes and gags, many based on the tendency to try to set these recent movies in the real world(and the ridiculous nature of the concepts), and direct references to Bay flicks, Transformers 2, etc. If you aren't really a fan of the dolls, don't worry, the only thing you need to be aware of about them to get this is the basic gist of what they look like. Knowing at least a little of the big blockbuster *action figure* films is more important to get the most out of this. At the time of writing this, it can be found on YouTube, along with the Linkin Park-style music video(with a custom song), which is just as excellently done, and the marvelous behind the scenes. All of them have marvelous acting by everyone involved, sharp editing, and next to no funny material falls flat. I recommend this warmly to anyone who can imagine that it fits their sense of humor. 8/10

I just wish there was more of it, but I simply loved this parody. It is constantly hilarious(in its pastiche of Transformers 2 and a couple of other Michael Bay movies), brilliantly written and spot on in delivery with everybody marvellously deadpan. My Little Pony: Reign of Buttercup Sprinkles is sharply edited with wonderfully epic music, good scenery and well-trained and colourful horses for the ponies. Although just three minutes, there is not a simple dull or rushed moment, though again part of me does wish it was a tad longer as I enjoyed it so much.
Overall, a hilarious, spot-on parody. Even if you're intrepid about it, give it a chance without prejudice, it's not what you think and I mean this in a good way. 9/10 Bethany Cox
