Two of the stars appearing on this special were Frank Gorshin and John Astin, both of whom had played The Riddler in the classic series Batman (1966). A third star on the special, Vincent Price, had played another BatVillain on the show, Egghead; and John Carradine had played the villain The Scarf in the related show Alias the Scarf (1967).
In 2015, Billy Van - "Count Frightenstein", was inducted into "The Official Horror Host Hall of Fame".
