      Jeremy Allen White went to cooking school for two weeks and worked in the kitchen of multiple restaurants, among them the Michelin star-rated Pasjoli, to train for the show.
    • Goofs
      The portrayal of Claire's schedule -- she's a resident in emergency medicine -- is completely unrealistic. Residents work 60-80 hours a week, and when they're not working they're exhausted. They're not helping people move, they're not eating three-hour meals on a Saturday night, and they're not lounging lazily around the house for hours in the mornings.

    Realistic Drama

    I've worked in a family owned restaurant in Chicago for decades. The intensity among family members and the dialog between workers is extremely realistic. All the characters in this series have depth which makes it believable. This show has no "caricatures" or "cartoon-like" people for comic relief. Excellent show!
