I didn't have many expectations, but I still enjoyed this film a lot.
Sure, the plot isn't a masterpiece and often become silly or foolish; there are some scenes where the violence falls into bad taste (for a film of this kind); but on average there are really many ironic moments, witty ideas and successful gags that are quite funny.
I especially appreciated the different reaction shown from female characters (including a little girl) towards the protagonist "before" and "after": many men will recognize an uncomfortable truth that they encounter every day and is seldom admitted (looks matters for both genders).
Let's say that my vote is six and a half, and I "gift" it half a point for the honesty (greater than usual) with which certain human shortcomings are portrayed: women care about looks as much as men do, and if a man is handsome enough they forgive him for everything; some men would look better if they kept quiet; some people are "friends" to you as long as you are useful to them, etc.
