Love Never Lies

I give it 6 stars because it's so bad that's it's funny.

Monica Naranjo is a great singer, for a host.

She's speakes in the same tone, boring.

The lie detector is a lie in itself.

Some of the girls are drama walking.

The prize is obviously going to be low because the contestants wanted to see the videos. That was the point of showing them.

I have to assume this was all scripted for "reality T. V.", I can't see how they could have found so many dysfunctional and toxic couples willing to be on television. There is barely a redeemable trait amongst the cast, and I really hope most people have more respect for themselves and don't truly believe a functional relationship works this way.

That being said, in terms of a television show, it is exactly what you look for in reality T. V. It's dirty, dramatic, a complete train wreck that I binge watched and it was consistently entertaining as you watch in awe that people have no shame.

Although I am pretty sure that the show is scripted and the lie detector test is a huge scam, I actually still enjoyed watching this.

It was kind of weird, because I am now realizing how easy it is for TV to force an opinion to viewers. Threw out the show, I switched which side I was on after every episode, because of new infos that were published.

Is this series the next big hit? No.

Is it enjoyable? I think so, yes. But only if you are the type for this. If you liked 'Love is blind' or 'The Circle', you will most definitely like this as well.

The producer is very manipulative, deceptive to the contestants. Which, one can argue that other shows are like that too. But the premise of the eye detector is already the biggest lie ever. There's no such thing. Second lie, the detector just say true or lie mainly to manipulate the contestants, to stir te drama. After second episode, I feel bad about them because of the manipulation of the producer. There is no 100k euro here. They probably set with few grand to spare. This is like manipulating vulnérable, some of them emotionally damaged people in front of the world to see. Why even netflix condone this? It's like you know a person is phobia to small space, u promised that person you will give money if you r honest about her phobia, yet lie to the person NS placed her in the small space anyway because you think audience will enjoy seeing her getting scared... emotionally abusive show.

The lie is that the eye detector is full-proof. This is the method with which they gasslight contestants. It is a very malicious method for creating drama. Especially when they are very aggressive (the host) when confronted with accusation of maliciousness. This is why host is a woman. It's easier for her to fight back the accusation and dismiss it. I think there is a simple way to cheat it, but you have to really trust your partner and vice versa. If a question causes you distress, choose and answer that doesn't paint a good picture.
