    Very Strong, Very Very Strong

All the racing events covered in this Docu-series are events I watched live, and yet this documentary still had my heart racing despite the fact that I knew the outcome. Netflix knows how to build the intensity in sports like this. Hats off to NASCAR and Netflix and I definitely hope it leads to more in the future.

    Turn Left

It's all about balance... Race and "race" both deserve a place but when does overemphasizing one or ignoring the other become a problem? I believe a fair equilibrium was achieved in several episodes, not in others.

This mini series describes a sport, a person, a company and a family in a context larger than Race and "race". That was never going to be easy. A brave attempt with a fair result.

If it's pure racing you're interested in, this may not be for you. If you can handle a wider context, if you can access both sides of your brain, this may be of interest.

Whatever the case may be... be ware if all the left turns...

All the "1's" showing up tells you they STILL have no interest in diversity in NASCAR

The ole' boys holding on to this sport like they are their so called "heritage." Great look into a man doing something he loves and has it has made a fan of me. Keep it up bruh.

    Much love from the family.

    Outsiders View

First, lets talk production technical qualities - Sound, Vision, Direction, Editing, Lighting - ALL are excellent, making the episodes easy to watch and listen to, no eye strain or ear strain.

The Story Telling aspect of the Direction, the weaving of documentary with just enough dramatic tension, again, excellent.

From the outside looking in, the view of someone raised outside of the US, this appears to be a well balanced and well presented 'year in the life of', for a person under a great deal of strain, being pulled in many directions by personal history, national history, sporting history, and then current turbulent politics.

For this fan of international motorsport, Bubba Wallace Jr will be added to the list of drivers wanting the best for, even if just because he's inspiring people to chase their dreams.

    Let's just say...prolific.

Jack Nicholson's famous phrase from a Few Good Men comes to mind. NASCAR admitted, themselves, the sport began as bootlegging. There are many PROLIFIC reminders, this tv series had to be made.
