Madam Varcolac's name is Romanian for werewolf (sfârcolac).
Although Jordan is assumed to be older, in reality "Victoria Justice" and "Chace Ellison" are in fact the same age. Being only seven months apart.
Every time Madame Varcolac's name is said, you hear a wolf's howl. This is obviously an homage to "Young Frankenstein" whenever Frau Blucher's name is mentioned you hear horses braying.

The pistol that Paulina uses throughout and at the end of the movie, is a COP .357 Derringer. The gun is no longer in service. It was also featured in other movies like Blade Runner (1982), Bad Boys (1995), and The Matrix Reloaded (2003). It was also used in 21 Jump Street (2012).
