This movie was inspired by a short film called "La Bataille de Farador", which was published on YouTube on October 26th 2011. The short film tells the story of a guy who rejoins his old Dungeons And Dragons group, finding out that the other players continued to play over the years, on their way to the fortress of Farador. "La Bataille de Farador" developed a cult following among tabletop role-playing games (TTRPG) players throughout Quebec. The movie tells the story of the same group, over a decade later.
