Failing

On many levels - no pun intended. I wanted to watch this in cinemas. In retrospect I have to admit, it was better not to have seen this on the big screen. It may look good (cinematography), but the script seems to be written by a teenager. Maybe it was - I should not be shaming anyone, sorry for that.

The cliches included in this ... the "acting" ... the characters and the ever changing power dynamics that make no sense at all. The holes in the script - as in flaws and logical errors as one might say ... or maybe I should just call it a black hole ... sucking in all the logic ... and hopefully your brain cells so you won't be hurting while watching.

All that aside, I assume if you are in the right age group ... you may feel represented in some sense. The tik tok dance thing is one of the highlights that actually seems legit. And then comes the twist ending to give you the final blow ... I may be being too nice again with my vote ... but that's me ...

did the germans learn nothing from dark?

How did this film make it into the cinema? I really don't understand it! Really! Just when you think you understand the germans, they surprise you with something you could never have imagined. I'm really not a specialist in german film, but i thought after "dark" the industry had taken a step forward. I think we can all agree that "dark" is the best thing to come out of Germany in recent years. It was original, clever and authentic and obviously didn't leave a mark. Instead, I have the feeling that I just saw a student film made by someone who has seen far too many Hollywood films. Very uncharitable and superficial. Please don't make a film just to make a film. Make a film to send the audience on a journey!

European publishers, only people can't accept it!

I don't know why the film was downgraded. It was quite good. I recommend it to everyone. No sex, no nudity! An American film can't do more than that. All the locations and it was quite nicely animated. CGI was good all the way through. At least there was minimal development of the characters. Egotistical, cocky, liars changed a minimum by the end of the film. The problem is that people can't accept European films, even though they exist :D Many good films have been produced so far by European publishers. There are good films outside America. The actors were amateurs, but that's it! Overall it was a good film.
