very eloquent short film

One starts to watch this film and wonder: surrender what? Then one sees 2 men in military fatigue uniforms. One presumes they were going to surrender to the enemy. This short film is remarkable. It is quite successful in imparting the messages it depicts. It is about saving life as a prime choice, and addresses team loyalty. It is about making a decision. The atmosphere is apt with the appropriate choice of light and shadow. The actors are very good. The presence of the young girl magnifies the conflict situation. On the other hand, she eases the tense mood. It keeps the viewer. The surrender is not what one expects. The set - the bunker, fits well to the story at hand. I can't believe how much information can fit into a 9-minute film! It is thoroughly eloquent in its absence of words.
