Nicole Scherzinger was the original choice of Manny Pacquiao to be his leading lady, but due to schedule conflict she begged off from doing the movie.
Dave Bautista was cast in Summer 2009 as the villain, but replaced because of scheduling conflicts. The half-Filipino WWE Superstar had previously served as Manny Pacquiao's bodyguard.
