Monte-Carlo, naissance d'un mythe

This movie is the first ever actually filmed in the Prince castle of Monaco. The Grimaldi (reigning family of Monaco) helped the production by giving access to the "Palais princier" (castled palace). The actor interpreting Prince Charles III of Monaco was pictured standing right beside the official marble statue of the Prince's bust, and at the bottom of the Prince's official portrait (frame is 11.5 feet high approx.). The Prince Guards stood by during the whole filming period to make sure free access was given to the staff and no item was damaged during scenes shooting.
