While the film was in post-production, Larry Elder (Executive Producer & Cast Member) left his nationally syndicated radio talk show to join the Epoch Times. Brandon Tatum (Cast Member) then signed on to take over Larry's slot.
Chad O. Jackson sold his plumbing company after the release of Uncle Tom. He joined Malone Pictures to research and help write Uncle Tom II.
Out of the 24 interviews conducted, only 11 were used in the final film.
After watching Uncle Tom, Daniel Teutul was so moved by the film that he contacted the filmmakers to offer his support in any way he could. From there, Dan invited the filmmakers to attend a screener at a drive-in movie theater in Poughkeepsie, NY. The business relationship evolved, and Dan is now an Executive Producer of Uncle Tom II.
During the production of Uncle Tom II, Larry Elder ran for Governor of California in the recall election.
